Hello! I am a single mom and my kitchen sink started leaking. Not knowing what to do, I asked Google for assistance, You showed up with the same set up as my own kitchen sink plumbing. I was most amazed and knew you would be the one that I was met to find. All because at the beginning of your video you had your beautiful Chihuahua in your vehicle wanting to go for a ride...I too have a girl Chihuahua whom loves going for rides, but she always wants to sit on my lap while i am driving. But I love Her wanting to do so. My first little dog . 2yrs I have had her. She came from Florida and I live in Michigan. She is starting to get use to our coldness. Any ways your video was a Godsend! You help me to fix my problem and you gave me a a much needed laugh... Thank You! God Bless!

    Oh my gawd,
Looks like a quality installation sometime in the past. They put the cleaner on the pic pipe connections but forgot the glue on the most important connection.
    Steve,
I've watched several of your jobs and love your quality.
    And attention to detail.

Great job Steve. Hard piping is the only way to go. I've sniffed lots of that PVC cement myself under sinks and crawlspaces. Lol. You did a first rate job as always man!

Friend last December installed a commercial rebuild front load washer with a gravity drain. Opened his garage where he stores a 1948 Plymouth 2 door business coupe. Car was last year like it just came off the production line. When he opened the garage the drain line he installed just below the ceiling had frozen and the car an floor is buried in soap suds and scum because he failed to tighten a 2 inch piece screw together line. Took him 5 days to clean up the car and garage. And $300 to have the drain line installed correctly, he installed the drain line himself to " save money ".

Good job Steven. I don't like those plastic compression fittings that they had there. PVC all around is better, less chance for leaks.

That PVC dishwasher wye is really hard to find, Home Depot, Lowe's and Ace Hardware don't carry it. None of the major home improvement retailers carry it.

Ok but how did you get that first pipe out of the T in the wall? I see the purple primer stains on the end of the one you have so I know it was glued in. I've got a real mess to fix in my sister's house. I worked for a plumbing company for two years doing this exact kind of thing as part of installing fixtures and doing warranty repairs. Normally I'd cut the 1.5" pipe behind the Y and replace everything. My problem is... it's all couplings from the wall to the Y. There is no pipe to work with. It's looking like my only option is to cut the T out in the wall and install a new one. That is going to be a challenge.

Question, The ""T" Coming down to connect the right side why not use a (Combo "T" Dishwasher outlet) was their a reason you used 2 "T"'s? thats what i would have done used the Combo and shot a straight pipe.
    just that otherwise great video.

Nice job Steve, but I don't know. . . job is really nice and neat, but very bulky piping. Cant you put a tee towards the cabinet backing, then a 90' and put a trap right next to the backing? You would save so much space for the homeowner, don't agree? Don't want to ramble like an old guy, just saying

Love your videos, I usually agree with the work you do.... but this time fixed properly is certainly not... no union trap , only a clean out on one side of the solid trap, and the dishwasher connection right off the ty instead of the 90 side to wash out the continuous waste and drai branch.
No offense, but not one of your best repairs.
