    What a great little bbq, sure cooked those snags up a beauty. Love your humour in the video too, I've sure had a couple of chuckles already. Thumbs up on giving this videoing, editing and uploading a go, your doing a good job.

    I cut my grates with a bolt cutter and instead of cutting them in half, I cut in 2/3 ,1/3 so I could have 1/3 with coals and 2/3 for smoking meats, making sure both fit side ways for storage. Great review - Thanks

      That sounds like a great idea JoeA. I'll be around for quality control on the final products you cook.😄

    Great tip to cut the top grid in half, I might do that so I could store the chimney inside like that. 😊

      Yes that's what we do. The small chimneys are hard to find but saw one in mitre10.

    Thanks for this video which I dropped across when I was looking for reviews of this BBQ. It's great that the various accoutrements can fit so neatly inside. 👍🏻

      Yes can be done by cutting the top rack in half. Would like to see a hot plate added. Thank you for your feedback.

    Great idea to cut the grill in half and easier to access the charcoal. Awesome.

    • @LittleCamperNZ
      @LittleCamperNZ  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it makes it so easy to transport too.

      @@LittleCamperNZ Have you tried Lard on your cooking grates ? I used Lard to season my cast iron cooking grates on my Broil Ling Baron 420. And I use it often to protect the grates as well. Thank you for sharing your info on the Weber Go Anywhere. broilkingbbq.com/en_ca/grills/baron-420-pro/

      @@LittleCamperNZ I tried cooking oil to help with rust protection but it leaves a real mess and looks crappy . However, I think it helps with rust.

      @@LittleCamperNZ I have a charcoal kettle with a round grate and I am thinking of cutting a section out to allow me to add charcoal. Any ideas ?

    Going to head out to Mitre10 and grab one today. Good idea with cutting the grill in half. Did you just use a a hacksaw? Another thing I've seen a few guys do, is put foil in the bottom under the coals for easier clean up.

    • @LittleCamperNZ
      @LittleCamperNZ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I cut it with a mini hacksaw. Great idea with the foil.

    Smoke is caused by cold still nights ? I thought it was an inevitable by product of burning stuff?
    I have a Weber go anywhere, brilliant bbq . Get some Grill Grates , not cheap but worth every cent/ penny/ dime.
