Greetings! I just wanted to drop a quick note and thank you for posting this. Our church is set up same as yours in that we are a Church of Christ that runs a X32 and vMix. Your video tutorial finally convinced me to purchase and set up a StreamDeck. Only used it a couple weeks and still making adjustments, but wow is it a game changer! I've used scenes with the X32 before but never got into snippits. Being able to call scenes, then snippits, and make changes to the vMix preview and output is great! It's simplified the process for transitioning from announcements, speaker, prayer, or Lords Supper with only the speaker and no ambient room sound and switching to congregational singing with all ambient room and little to no song leader audio to the stream. It's giving us a more uniform output to both in-house and livestream. I'm hopeful this will make it easier to bring in others to help out with our sound and livestream when the two technical people we have are not available. Thanks again for taking the time to record this video!

I’m so glad to find your video! We’ve been running Vmix and an XR32 for years now but been needing something exactly like stream deck to bring it all together. Also glad to see your references to Streaming Idiots with Tom! Great guy! Nice work and hope to level up at our church soon with this similar setup

Dennis, many thanks. Well done!. This great stuff. We have in our church in Netherlands exactly the same setup as you were demonstrating. Will get on with this. Fabulous work!

Some decent points in this video, but it is in desperate need of adding chapters. Content like this can be a great reference for future volunteers and set ups, and it would be far more useful if you could jump to specific pieces of information quickly.

I wonder if you can help me. How do I use my 15 button Stream Deck in Companion. Can't seem to be able to see my 15 button Stream deck. It sees the 32 button but not 15.

I’m having such a hard time setting up my stream deck. I’m using the x32 and can not get it to program. Can you provide any help at all?

How would you set up three cameras on you tube live streaming? Does this work as a switcher, where you may connect your camera output (HDMI?) live show to broadcast? Do you connect this to Elgato Capture card? I am very new, so I need massive help. Thanks much. I am trying to live stream church prog. here in INDIA to to live stream on You Tube.

There are multiple options, but I would recommend using a computer and vMix (vmix.com) software for video switching and streaming. You can also find lots of great resources in the "Streaming Idiots" Facebook group facebook.com/groups/StreamingIdiots/

@@phillipsphotography If you would like to mix within the computer (using OBS or vMix) then you will need multiple capture cards (camlinks), worth noting that they need to be on their own USB 3 root hub. Alternatively you would need a video switcher (such as ATEM mini) to switch between the cameras etc. The streamdeck is just a controller, it can't switch any video itself, but only tells other things to switch things.
