Yeah when the Original Trilogy Special Edition came out, there was a plethora of Star Wars toys. I personally would love to own a 12" Scout Trooper with Speeder Bike. Ive seen some at conventions, but never had the cash to put down for one. The detail is great and it even comes with a diorama display
Great review! I'd love to see more of these Hasbro Star Wars 12" figures if you've got others you're itching to crack open. I really like this line. Like you said, Hasbro put a lot of care into these... and although they aren't as accurate or detailed as something like Sideshow's figures, they are toys through and through. They were built to be subjected to play from children, if need be, and that goes a long way, in my book.
I find that loose SW figures sell better than carded figures do. It's odd... I too bought some SW figures back then but now I can't get rid of them. As of a few years ago I went strictly to collecting SITH figures. To Hades with the rest of the lines figures.
This is awesome! I picked one of these sets up on clearance from Toys R Us for $10 at one point!

I have this. You'll find that, over time, the Tauntaun's leg will buckle at around the ankle. I guess the plastic is too thin.
@SuperRob77 I would like to pick one of those up.
Ha, I have that two-pack too!
Are you gonna do any reviews on the matty collector 12" Ghostbuster figures?
Did they rerelease it?
