He doesn't know the proper lyrics, so the gibberish of the chorus is supposed to be Diego trying to sing the beginning of "Rapper's Delight" to his dj friend to explain which song he means. The band consists of three (nowadays four) girls who named themselves "Las Ketchup". They are daughters of Juan Muñoz who was nicknamed "El Tomate".
Due to this fact, they called their first album "Hijas del Tomate" ("Tomato's Daughters") ... and as you should know, ketchup is made out of tomatoes.
I heard this as a kid on tv in early 2000s, I've looked for it for years, more than a decade. It immediately transported me back 😭❤️
