My big criticism of all these platform engineering talks is that they are so idealogical and theoretical as opposed to practical. Like why not at least say "figure out a way automate github repo templates that are full of all the boilerplate your dev teams need and give people a UI where they can spin their own environments of those templates and get all that stuff deployed as stubs through prod."
