Cao Ren winning the initial fight with low cunning and commited will, loving it. He's one of my favorite side characters, though he's not in the top tier of generals he's always so loyal and enthusiastic.
I’m pretty late to ur comment but they don’t have the same actors but have around the same faces because if u look at Liu Shan’s voice is slightly more softer but niu Jin is more aggressive (his voice)
@@joanng5505 you could be right, I once thought the actors of Cheng Yu and Xu Huang were the same until someone told me under a different episode that they were twins
Sacrificing 500 men instead of charging all 15500 at once seems like a foolish tactic at first, even with advantage of exhaustion, but there is a good reason it worked in this case, which wasn't mentioned. When faced with 15500, 5000 enemies would preserve their formation and energy until reinforcements arrive, or use that energy to escape. However, faced with mere 500 troops, 5000 soldiers used that 10:1 advantage, abandoning caution and using up all their energy to quickly finish off all of them, so when further 15000 arrived they were engaged in combat unable to switch to a formation in which they can hold out for long, and too exhausted to escape with their lives, instead they are forced to continue fighting in a formation intended for quick extermination of enemy rather than one for patient long combat. Usually this tactic wouldn't work, but in these circumstances, it was brilliant.
+Rao FORG11VE More than that. Zhou Yu's intellect is in the 90s in ROTK and seems comparable here. Does Cao Ren's stuffup against Xu Shu really look like an 80? O.K admittedly in ROTK VIII Ma Su has an 80, but unlike Cao Ren up to this point he's smart most of the time.
this episode is just stupid it goes against everything tht cao ren actually represent, because he is ca cao main defensive officer and would rather die than retreat so this is just totally all wrong.

After watching this series countless of times, I just noticed and I'm pretty sure the actor or Niu Jin is the same as Liu Shan
