Be careful ladies and gents the powder pots can get slippery if you have powder on your fingers.I dropped an entire pot into my lap 😩
I felt that I have dropped so many pots of dip powder it’s a different kind of pain
I knocked mine off my table all over the carpet. A glitter one 🥴😂🤣
I put what I am using into a separate smaller pot just in case, for this very reason.

I did this technique for the very first time using a glitter soft pale blue and a dark blue and if I could send a photo I have got the most amazingly beautiful hombre nails right now! Thank you!!! At first I was trying to do black on the tips from your other video but my black wasn’t sticking so I just changed to a dark blue on the hombre affect it’s a softer powder and it picked up so much better. What an amazing technique!!

Love it 🥰 I’m confused after the basecoat gel and then clear powder, did you put more on to start the ombré 🤔?
The Gel Base is the 'Hack' behind this ombre, it helps create that fade and the clear also assists with that! If you used Dip base it would stick instantly and not have an ombre effect 💖

Is the flash cure step necessary? What does the flash cure actually do to the product, or how does it affect the ombré step?
Flash curing helps get the gel to the right amount of "stickiness" so that the ombré will actually work. If you cure it too long, not much pigment will stick, if you don't cure it at all it won't ombré as smoothly because it'll stick too much. 💕

Hi there. This is lovely but I don't get how the pink sticks after you've dipped into the clear? Does the clear not stop it from sticking? Xx
I believe, since the gel base cost has just been flash-cured, it will still be pretty tacky. That tacky layer will be what the ombre color sticks to.
Because we didn't cure the base for a full 60 seconds, there is enough wet liquid to grasp onto the Clear and the Color Powder☺️
Kiara Sky Nails I have tried this 3 times and can not get the ombré color to stick after dipping in to the clear. I even tried once letting the base cure for only 5 seconds not 10 and still couldn’t get it to stick. What am I doing wrong? I feel I followed the video exactly.

Why are the nails being cured? I thought one of the benefits of using the dip powder gel was the fact that it did NOT require the UV lamp.
Dip doesn't require a UV/LED Lamp but for this, the nails are being cured because in order to use this hack, you have to use gel base and gel top coat which both have to be cured in a UV/LED lamp. 💅🏻

i tried this technique with pure white at the tip and it didn't work 😭

Love the color combo! I'm waiting for this one nail to grow so I can do my dip powders again.
-typing this with dip on my natural nails but my right thumb has a tip (it broke off a month ago) and I’m growing it out-
So, I’m letting you know that you can do dip at anytime! A good way to get a nail to grow is to apply a tip and then apply dip, no need to wait to have beautiful nails hun 😁

I have the stiletto and almond ones, both in clear! They have easy to blend wells and fairly strong :)

YESSS! Had to try this immediately when Kim posted the video not long ago. I must say, I am OBSESSED with this technique. I've tried dip ombre's by lightly tapping the product off of a brush. Although it may have worked somewhat but nothing like this. 💕💕💕
