I also faced this issue. I called the helpline number provided in the email, and the representative asked for my email ID. He mentioned that I had already attended, even though I hadn't clicked the link. Then, he told me to contact my placement cell. I explained to him that this is an off-campus drive😂. He simply replied, saying this won't happen during the final assessment.
