at #4:47 if this was aa real battle we would be hearing gunfire and see more people, however the two gentlemen who are crouched are both JTAC's (Joint terminal attack controller) there job is to call in Air support, this appears to be a FTX (field training exercise) in the mountains of California, or Nevada. The sound that we hear is of the main gun from the A-10 which is a aircraft used for air support the sound is very famous.
