Today is my last day in Angeles City Philippines. I thought long and hard on where I wanted to have my last meal in the City. I went with a triple cheeseburger from Ollie's. In my opinion Ollie's has the best burgers in all of the Philippines. Also I decided to take one more walk down Fields Avenue and the world famous Walking Street here in Angeles City Pampanga Philippines.

About me : Retired American Expat Brian & Filipina wife Luisa, living in the Angeles City / Clark Pampanga Philippines.
I remember in 1984-1985 this street was jammed with US airmen and sailors. I had my Filipina girlfriend, and we would travel to Baguio. Oh to be young again.
But I am happy with my wife from Negros. 60 is just much different than 20.
look forward to the new adventures.....hopefully you will be able to do lots of exploring while in the new digs. Your previous vlogs were not that long, so hope to see lots of extended scenes of what there is to do in the province....I don't imagine there are many foreigner expats in that neck of the woods...time will tell

Its been quite a while since I watched and comment on one of your videos. I can remember back in 2021 leading up to when travel opened up in March of 2022 I watched a lot of your videos. Prior to the pandemic I had been to the Philippines quite a few times. Just never around Angeles City. I always went to Northern Mindanao and Cebu.
In March of 2022 when I was able to return to the Philippines I did happen to go check Angeles City out just out of curiosity and it was mostly because of your videos. No I didn't go into any of the bars. I don't do that stuff. I do remember seeing you shooting a video right there at the corner of where that sky tracks was at that time and you turned and went up towards brown sugar way. I commented on that video and mentioned it at that time that I saw you. I do believe that's probably the last video I might have commented on.
I'm sure its somewhat not easy to leave somewhere that you been at for seven or eight years to basically start all over again even though it will be a refreshing start. Absolutely nothing wrong with changes.
I guess from a vlogging point of view I'm sure there is really not much more to cover there at Angeles City other than the Koreans are taking over. To be more truthful, when it comes to vloggers in Angeles City and The walking Street area it's to oversaturated with vloggers for the size of the area.
Good luck with your new adventure. Thank you for all the videos that you did do there in Angeles City. It's safe to say that watching your videos back in 2021 kept my motivation up during the pandemic on returning to the Philippines as soon as I could.

Wow the end of an era! I discovered you during the early days of the pandemic when we were locked down in the states. I was curious about Angeles City having never been there. I lived through you by watching your countless videos. I learned a lot about the city from you, and now I’ve visited Angeles several times. I guess I’ve also learned a lot about myself over the past couple years while traveling throughout SE Asia. Thanks for the adventures and best of luck to you!
Good to see the night life one last time... i stay at the Walkaround Hotel when i'm in town. It was the Walkabout but the Aussie owner sold it at the end of 2019 (lucky for him considering 2020!) and the name was changed.... best of luck with your new circumstances, i look forward to the new videos.....

It will be different seeing your new videos in a completely different location. I also like how many people's heads that you live rent free in Brian. I'm sure that if you wanted to do other things on your last day in Angele City you wouldn't be making videos and taking the time to edit and download them. i live in a small city in leyte; less than 90,000 population.
there's metro, gaisano and prince supermarkets...but it's often difficult to find basic products...impossible to find lamb, good beef or decent salad products. fish, pork and chicken are of course readily available.
same with restaurants - dishes served with missing products. recent example being a shrimp pesto pasta, but no pesto sauce - only olive oil and dried basil lol.
it depends where your new home will be - if it's a popular tourist destination, you will have fewer problems.

Bars were smaller girls were nicer , now to big bars music to loud can't talk to girls ,prices to much ,Korean bars the worst ,I don't go in them ,they always add extra drinks to bar tab , who needs them ,there other towns better ,like subic ect
For me, it was all about having a blast w/ the girls in the Sml Bars .. Everybody sits around staring in the Huge Clubs .. and they marked a change with a Different breed of Tourist & the place going "Tourist Trap" to me .. I still laugh at rebranding Fields "Walking St" ..
It's changed a bit since 1980!
Maybe it would be too much work but it might be interesting to do a compare and contrast video between one of your first Walking St videos and your last.

Wow, has it really been that long since you and Lot did the video where she was picking up the pay from the bar girls? Time flies. I've been watching you from near the beginning. I started my channel and have changed the name a couple of times, last time was at least five years ago, or so. That burger looked pretty juicy. I've always thought those night lights on Walking Street, especially when there is a lot of people walking around, looked like you are at some fairgrounds, makes you want to start looking around for a Ferris Wheel. Hahahaha. That and those Christmas light things that start showing up early September, when they are all over, reminds me of a Carnival, etc. I am sure you are on the island by now, I trust you had a safe flight.

Been about 15 years since my last visit to Angeles City. It has definitely seen better days. Back in the day it didn’t matter what night of the week it was, you had more foot traffic and ambience.

I started watching your channel back when you had that small sari-sari store well before you got the bigger store. You guys been through a lot and have worked so hard to take care of your family.
The haters are jealous of you and your happiness. Those who brag about being single are lonely and sad on the inside and some have chosen you to take their bitterness out on and yet you just keep a stepping. Truly sorry that I didn't get to meet you before your move! I have been watching your channel for many years, Lots channel from day one! I learned much from watching you, it helped prepare me for my move to the area. My lovely asawa is from Porac where we reside now. I always kept my eyes open when we ventured into Angeles, but no Philly sightings!

I thought you’d hit Ollie’s one last time. I can walk to their new location from my apartment. I’ll be playing pool tonight at Walking St. I was in Owl’s Nest Monday for pool. Lot of changes inside. It’s our backup pool bar to AngelWitch. My father was talking to one of the managers about the changes. My father used to be a manager at a few of the bars there. I think his last was Voodoo which is now AngelWitch. He managed the Nimitz Hill Officer’s Club in Guam when he was in the US Navy. Kept him busy here doing something he enjoyed. I’d say safe travels, but you’re already there.
This is up there with Seinfeld, M*A*SH, Cheers, and the Sopranos.

A lady at the pub in London Gatwick Airport when I ordered my "last beer" in the airport when I was moving to Tokyo to work, said I would be back! I am sure you will be back in Angeles, at least to visit! Take care my friend.
I'm very excited for your new journey. Because of your inspiration and the American woman, I'm almost ready to come and take that torch you've been trying to pass around. I'm retired from the military, finishing up some education, and just wrapped up a divorce. I've been working on my channel for almost 2 years, although I haven't posted a video yet. When the finances are squared away, I'll be headed that way.
