- The 1st test run of off roading the Jeep with the off-road pop-up tent trailer. With a secured camping spot, we left the trailer behind to attempt 2 destination spots that people said we couldn't reach. One spot had a washout and the other had spring melt snow with steep cliffs. I love adventures like this because getting to places people say you can't make feels so rewarding!

I never understand why people cut openings in trails so narrow, whenever I find a tree across a trail or road I remove it from the whole width of the trail., even when I am riding my ATV. Great to see you out with your son enjoying the day together.

The eco diesel gladiator is a great vehicle until the high pressure fuel pump stops working and you get stranded. And cross your fingers you're not in a dangerous trail up in the mountains.
They started having problems when they butchered our diesel. The hpfp is pretty much preventable with additive. But yes, if it goes its a big problem.
Your son seems super excited to be making trips with you. I loved his reaction to the waterfall.
Did you notice a lot of change with the EcoDiesel tune? Such as fuel economy, DEF consumption, acceleration, transmission shifting on hills, etc.
What kind of tune did you get?
I went with Ecodiesel Owners Canada. At this point they are by far the best and the only ones offering tune select on the fly. I also have their transmission tune. And yes extremely dramatic changes. Feels like a completely different vehicle.

Great video and family memories made! How much does your camper weigh? and how much of a drop hitch do you use? Noticed a little squat. Oh yeah when you wete going by your GSP winked at me and said sasquatch saw you again!
My trailer weighs about 2300 lbs. I use a 1 inch riser lol the trailer also has a huge lift and tires. I got the gsp as a sasquatch tracker. No luck yet but I think we're getting close.....

Had I continued to live in Lower Mainland, I would have liked to see more locations than I did

How's it going man love the video thought it was great good times with family. I've been in the market for the last 3 weeks looking for a new vehicle. Almost made the biggest mistake I was looking at a Toyota 4Runner on Facebook marketplace offer the guy a great cash deal. But he would not answer certain questions. So I gave up and found the unicorn 2007 Grand Cherokee with a 3.0 turbo diesel deleted and tuned. Offered him a cash deal and even delivered it to me last Monday from Annapolis I live in the Ocean City Maryland. It's Wednesday now and I've already ordered a 3-inch lift just got to find wheels and tires. I literally hit the lotto with this jeep can't wait to get back out Wheeling!!!!!!!

Excellent “filming” ! Curious about Scout in the truck. Are you worried about him going awol, that he doesn’t get to run along ? The pointer “Lando” from Epic Family Adventure always seems to stick with the Jeep, on his long runs. 🌲🤙
Scout runs with me everytime I put the camera down. I do let him loose to run but he still runs right in front of vehicles so that's work in progress. This breed needs to stretch their legs often lol I can't keep him couped up in the truck.
Looks like you have the same tires as me on my 2022 Gladiator. Do you get a loud road noise while on the interstate. Enjoyed the video an your son is a blast to tag along.
Yes I do get the loud road noise. I think that's part of running an MT. I ordered the nitto trail grapplers although I'm not sure if that'll make a difference.... Cheers thank you!!

@@UnwindingRoads man someday I would love to go up there. I was gonna drive up to have Epic do my Jeep but then I realized I needed my Passport. So I had to go to plan B. Which is local. Luckily I found a guy that has over 18 years off-road experience and is trustworthy. He will be loading up underneath my Jeep soon. Parts already ordered. Can’t wait! My Super Pacific camper is under construction as well. I’ll be driving up to Portland, Oregon for that!

@@UnwindingRoads we did Moab for ejs and then overland expo last week. I’ll be do for another trip in 6 weeks. Lol. From Ohio those were both long trips. Between 4 and 5 thousand miles round trip each. Both were worth it.

Great job on the camper! I am running air bags in the rear springs to help with squat. There's some good info on using the RAM bags that are taller on the forums.
@@HolmesProspecting good idea. I think I need those. I'm thinking of getting the teraflex hd springs as well...
@@UnwindingRoads Springs might be a bit of overkill. Usually your just compensating for 100-200 pounds of tongue weight. Bags allow you to keep them at 5 psi for non towing ride then 30 psi for towing. Springs would be all or nothing.
Plus cost. I think the bags run $100 US for the kit. Easily doable in the drive way. Springs would be much more expensive and require more time to drop the old ones out.

I also despise people that chainsaw a tree across the road ONLY BARELY ENOUGH for their vehicle, (screw anyone with a bigger vehicle width)
The road is 12' wide, why restrict it to 7.214' cause you are 7.215' wide. It's just rude. The next vehicle may not have a chainsaw, or experience.
