As an Irish man I'm ashamed to say I know so little about these places of such historical significance to the country! I'm going to spend the next few months researching as much as possible and hopefully organise a tour of all these ancient landmarks and learn more about the myths and legends of our country. This documentary re-ignited my childhood fascination with ancient Irish history. Brilliant content. Keep it up!
I travelled from my country, New Zealand, to the West of Eire in 2000 and never wanted to leave. My Irish ancestors filled my entire being from the moment I set foot on that beautiful and mysterious land.
I’ve been to Ireland before and never have I been anywhere like there since. It’s amazing, and has a whole other energy that I can’t even begin to explain. There’s definitely something more to that place than what people think.
The particular area in this video(the valley of the Kings) has an energy about it that I can't put my finger on but can definitely be felt, especially around newgrange
YES IT IS FULL OF ENERGY I HAVE REAL PHOTO/S OF FAIRY/S A LOT OF THEM I AM A NATURAL HEALER AND I FEEL ENERGY FROM EVERYTHING THAT HAS ENERGY IN OUR WORLD AND OUTSIDE OF OUR WORLD
I've a fairy fort mound 100 metres from my house with a tunnel into it ...i used to go in when we were younger....its a magical country but is losing its soul fast
I'm grateful that there are still historians that cherish these monuments and the stories that go with them. I'm American but I've been diving into my Irish-Celtic ancestry, and I can't express how important these stories are to me personally, as well as on a world-wide scale. The pre-Christian cultures of the Celts, and others, really needs to be spread and investigated further. They are truly the foundation of so many of our cultures, but they've been relegated to amusing stories and superstitions. They need to be taught as critical history. We so appreciate that you are able and willing to share these stories with us. Blessed Be!
Agree with you Selene. Unfortunately these historians are few & getting less as globalists socialists agenda takes over all history that doesn't fit their narrative. Unfortunately there have been marked interferences with historical truths and it's getting worse. The internet is not known for ethical ways. Happy to hear that you're researching you Irish ancestry. It must be exciting for you.

One of your finest, I'd say, and I look forward to more quality teachings for the wealth of knowledge you have become. Beannacht
Thanks for this film. I worked in this part of Ireland for almost 3 years and it really struck a chord with me for some reason. 7 years later I still go back to visit these sites, Call me what ya like but there is a different type of energy up around the Boyne Valley and Brú na Bóinne is particularly eerie at times. Again, thanks for the film. I purchased the album on google play, very nice album, well worth a tenner.
Our pre christian history is totally ignored by every government we've ever had. I remember learning in school (not that long ago) how St Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland and "civilised" us, like we were savages before that. Stone Henge is a world famous pile of rubble and Newgrange is practically unknown, even in ireland even though it is the oldest in tact buiilding on earth. Newgrange is one of if not the most significant building in the world yet no one has heard of it outside of Ireland. Most of the discoveries there have been made by inquisitive foreigners or the general public. If it was significant to Christians I guarantee it would be promoted outside of Ireland way way more, i.e. the book of kells.
@tigerspuds Don't confuse the Papal Crusades for the actions of Christians. This is the most common historical mistake I see people make all the time. Constantine, the sun worshiper founded catholicism, not St. Peter. That was a lie from the start. There is no record of Peter ever being in Rome. It was the continuum of this pagan roman empire system which pretended t convert, but never did. The hierarchy simply hid behind the facade of catholicism. It was these pagan sun worshippers who were behind the crusades, not christians. Do some homework on the sun symbolism in the Vatican, and the vestments worn by the clergy and what the symbols mean. Its damn obvious when you do your research
So many variations on the jumping wall. My father is from between carrickmacross and ardee, and he always said that the wall had jumped cos the devil had entered the church

I always feel a little suspicion when moral judgements get into a story if the monks had part in the translating. I think stories have to be teased out like combing tangles.

I have been inside newgrange twice, '82 & '08. In An Dún where I live, a 4,000 BC settlement was discovered when they started to built the main Dublin to Belfast road. They built the road over what was dicovered and never even put a monument or marker in the field beside the main road to show people.

Very enjoyable thank you for a great presentation. My family all came from Loath and Newry in the North and I always loved the rolling hills coming into the south from Newry. Beautiful land I call it.
Yes indeed. Landscapes of Neolithic Ireland by Gabriel Cooney. The Stones of Time by Martin Brennan. The Origins of the Irish by J.P. Mallory. Newgrange: Archaeology, Art and Legend by Michael O'Kelly. Knowth and the Passage-Tombs of Ireland by George Eogan. Temples of Stone by Carleton Jones. That should provide you with a very good starting point!
I would add, about 580 BC the prophet Jeremiah came to north Ireland and placed a daughter of the line of King David joined with the Prince of North Ireland on the throne of David (now the throne in England) over the house of Israel (on the Hill of Tara) who had migrated there during the 7th century BC after their deportation by the Assyrians in the 8th centry BC. This event is recorded in detail in the Bible, mentioned in Egyptian records where they began this journey and is accounted for in stone at the New Grange burial sight.
I was named after ruairc one of the high kings of Ireland and only today I was in the boyne valley. Truly a beautiful part of my country and I'm proud to be Irish. Our land is steeped in myth and legends and we are one of the most creative, loving and peaceful people in the world. That in itself says it all. Vote for equality and freedom this year and long live the republic
Rudolf Steiner's THE MYSTERIES OF HIBERNIA adds to another side to the mystery of Ireland, especially the audio and visual works by Dale Brunsvold and THE KARMA POLICE BUREA.
Interesting video, with many arresting images. From an editing point of view, I would say that the musical soundtrack is often rather too loud, in contrast to the narration.
Interesting. I worked years in and around the Dalai Lama. He apparently has an ancient very sacred painting of a red (or reddish) haired woman, who was prophesied to become very important in this current age (their prophecies are pretty accurate I have found, and also usually associated with many ongoing dreams and visions, and the Dalai Lama himself has many visions). They took it v seriously and I know they have been looking out for her, anywhere in the world (with false reports and claims also). Interesting also because of course no tibetans or himalayan people have red hair. She probably also has blue eyes as most of their deity paintings do (also odd but is considered one of the spiritual 'marks' by them). Gautama Buddha was caucasian with blue eyes. The whole 'aryan race thing, or 'noble one' is supposed to be nothing to do with race really, but to do with someone of a high level of spiritual realization, a noble one has a high understanding of selflessness and compassion, or sunyata (emptiness), the true nature of reality, which you can't buy or just get through reading or academia, it is a realization. Also interesting is that across the himalaya and tibet, green 'Tara' is so revered, the divine feminine. Monks join in the temple each morning to chant and pray to her for 1-2 hours. Particularly the last few years, many Masters have said to do her chant, including the DL for covid (actually tibetans saw covid coming and started before it hit the news)... She is also compassionate activity, clearer of obstacles... supposedly there are many 'emanations' of her around the planet right now (that is not direct incarnations).. Ireland and Tibet both seemed to protect some of the mystic knowledge on this planet, through the degenerate age, perhaps saved also bygeography...
God I love the Blarney Stone! There's a reason the Irish are so proud of it! While the video style is excellently done, there's a bit of blarney going on, lol! But, that's what makes this such great fun, I'm at least thankful that you didn't add in aliens.
Thanks for giving the meanng and translation behind ehw Irish/Gaeilge words very important for my proposed Hons Irish Leaving Cert Studies. Is there a Gaeltacht area in Co Louth or is the Rathcairn Gaeltacht in Co Meath near Ashbourne 4he closest?
Does anyone know what the circular holes (4-7 foot deep and 20-40 feet in diameter ) are?..they are all over Co mayo, about 100 meters apart often in a line.
Garrett's Fort. Earl Garrett has a sleeping army in a secret chamber. This legend of a buried sleeping army has been attached to King Arthur. And a six-fingered red-haired hero comes and PULLS A SWORD FROM THE WALL, too. Very interesting.
The sleeping army makes me think of the terracotta army. Maybe they're meditating soldiers only gilded in terracotta, also waiting for the last great battle. See you in Ragnarok my brother.
Makes sense it was at the Inver(confluence )of 2 rivers. Also hy can be used as a prefix to refer to the person as being affiliated with Royalty or high status within their social class. Such as the Hy-priest of Tara. Or perhaps Maeva the hy-queen of Tara. The designation can also include references to places that are founded by people of high status. Such as Hy-Brazil, or Hy-Borea(above the Boreal) where the ancient peoples who populated Ireland are from.
Great doc. Would it be possible to enable automatic subtitles so I can share this with foreign friends and students? It might help them to enjoy it more easily. Thanks

Love your videos I grew up listing to these legends I was brought up near the burren in county Clare it has same significance
Anthony, you lay naked the word, a gift from the Dagda no doubt.
Are there any papers or books that you would recommend for further reading on the Neolithic history of Ireland?
Conor macdari- Irish wisdom preserved in bible and pyramids. Profound. Thank me later!;D
Man, this was interrupted almost 10 times for advertisement. Consider putting this on Vimeo, please. But it was interesting to watch, thanks.
It's incredible how spiritual, methodical and scientific the Ancients people were. They were far more sophisticated than we could know.
Thank you for this marvelous video😊
Surroundings, environments, atmospheres, activities, events, schedules, circumstances and situations are all really loaded footnotes
Great production. Cool interruption of ancient sites and names. Make more.
Rudolf Steiner's THE MYSTERIES OF HIBERNIA adds to another side to the mystery of Ireland, especially the audio and visual works by Dale Brunsvold and THE KARMA POLICE BUREA.
Yes, I refer to these lectures by Steiner in comments above, excellent audio visual content - "Ancient Mystery Centres of Ireland".
Interesting video, with many arresting images. From an editing point of view, I would say that the musical soundtrack is often rather too loud, in contrast to the narration.
Fascinating.
Thoroughly enjoyed that, off to the Emerald Dream now. Slainte Clann agus kin.
Newgrange area was spectacular. Would love to see more of Ireland...
The Udmurts of the Russian Federation have red hair!
@mythicalireland
oh this music . . . would this piece of mystical chanting have a title ? i'd really appreciate it :)
+reichen666 It's all from the album "The High Man" by David Swan Montgomery.

God I love the Blarney Stone! There's a reason the Irish are so proud of it! While the video style is excellently done, there's a bit of blarney going on, lol! But, that's what makes this such great fun, I'm at least thankful that you didn't add in aliens.
Yes, it is all made up. We don't know what those ancient people were thinking or trying to accomplish.
Got to spend 3 weeks there driving through county Cork and Carlow I wish I had 3 months there
Thanks for giving the meanng and translation behind ehw Irish/Gaeilge words very important for my proposed Hons Irish Leaving Cert Studies.
+Son of Alba Steelman Theres many of the same myths across the world with only different names.
+Davy Whitezel Oh, absolutely.
The sleeping army makes me think of the terracotta army. Maybe they're meditating soldiers only gilded in terracotta, also waiting for the last great battle. See you in Ragnarok my brother.
demigods in there stasis chambers of diamond with relations to the dannan gods. waiting to wake up at the precise time. this is how I see it.
AND the sleeping army in Hell Boy, Ck out the legend behind "Nuada"
Thanks
I cant find anything about garaths fort/ location or the story. Could you link me ??? I live fairly close so would love to visit
