I'm not gonna lie, considering some of the mods I've seen for this game, I genuinely went into this assuming you were _literally_ going to play as a helicopter.
I find the lack of Apache helicopters in this run to be highly disappointing. Side note Bloodborne was my first Souls game and I basically beat it the same way by spamming the heavy spinning axe attack all the way to the end so I'm glad to see that it's still a viable strategy.

That fight against malenia was very good! I would have loved to see if it was even possible to get to her under the challenge conditions 😂 that encounter with the putrid tree and two haligtree knights seems like nightmare fuel
Just wanted to say I love that you don't unequip everything for the mimic fight and actually go in as normal. So many challenge runners remove their gear for it despite the fight not even being that difficult
I'd like to mention that the Winged Crystal Tear would've been a good alternative to spending a long time leveling endurance. Most bosses, I would assume, take less than 3 minutes, so you'd be in light load for entire boss fights. You would eventually need that endurance for the longer bosses, but you could use the runes from bosses to level up to save some farming.

Been using the helicopter for 2 runs already. Works better on the scythe 2 spins will trigger bloodloss Preventing second phase for the ff bosses 1. Radahn 2. Godrick is rng 1st run worked 2nd time i was met with the cinematic 3. Placidusax 4. Morgott 5. Mogh
Can you beat Dark Souls 2 permanently locked into the view point of the Binoculars, you can still attack. But you can’t roll or move swiftly, it’ll be like a call back to the kings field days.
I feel the need to argue in defense of Black Flame Blade, at least in situations other than a challenge run where its drawbacks are magnified immensely. It's quite powerful, the most FP-efficient universally effective attack (since it does percent damage and nothing is immune). People just hate on it because it's the only weapon buff with a skill floor.
