a bad news knowing you got injury, I expect to watch your review on compact frame rackets. I start to like them. Speedy recovery ya..cheers from Solo, Java.
Ahhh. I remember when I broke my Arcsaber 7 few years ago. It was really easy to use because it is an even balance racket. Last month, I buy the Arcsaber 7 Pro. It felt really the same. But it didnt suit my playstyle anymore. Now, I'm using the 88D pro and TKF Enchanced Edition.
I still remember the tournament i came as third by playing with arcsaber 7 gen 1.. I got it in 2017 that was quite a 10 years since the launch Though the racket weight was 3u it wasn't tough playing a drive or a drop shot after hitting a powerful smash I am currently playing with lining tectonic 6 which is head heavy flex .. can see the difficulty in hitting a smash and trying to drive the next one
Hey CK, great video as always showing the evolution of rackets over the years. I looked at YCSports like u said last time but still no 7 Play or Tour models available. I also looked at CentralSportd and that was no-go either. Would you be able to find out when they will finally get them in?
Hi CK. Love your channel and racket reviews. There's a new Astrox 77 Pro release coming soon. Do you know how it compares with the Gen 1 Astrox 77 and the Astrox 88D Pro? Thanks.
CK any chance to get a ArcSaber Z Slash to review? The one came out in 2009 and I'm still using it, 3U currently BG80 at 25 lbs. I couldn't find too much information on the Z Slash as it's so old, but I feel like it's a head heavy stiff shaft attack racquet. I Recently bought a 4U 88D Pro with Exbolt 65 at 27 lbs, but really struggle to put the power down, miss timed a lot and the shuttle runs more flat when I want to smash. But with my old trustworthy Z Slash, heavy smash is not a problem. I do notice that 4U 88D Pro is less head heavy than 3U Z Slash, and a bit easier to maneuver at front court. After watching your positive review on the 88D Pro, and some other videos, I decided that it should be a decent step up, but so far not! So please rescue!
I had the Z Slash for quite a while when it launched back then and I think you're just used to the Z Slash's timing as that thing is super quick. Give yourself a bit more time on the 88D Pro and you'll see it coming to you.
Hey CK, I currently thinking about buying either 88D tour, 99 Tour or maybe the 88D pro. Currently I’m using the Duara Z Strike from 2019. I like the racket to have a stiff shaft and I do play at the front of the court as a double player. I tried the 88S back in 2019 and do not really like the feel that it give as it kinda lack of power. In you recommendations which will you recommend me to go for (88D tour, 99 tour, 88D pro or maybe some other racket)? I could not test them out as I can only access to these through online website.
Do any of your friend have those rackets? If yes, ask them to lend you for a couple of shots. If not, then it will be a hit and miss case. CK won't be able to point out which racket is the best for you. Everybody has their own preference. You must find it yourself. But based on those 3 rackets, of course youll get the most benefits from 88d pro, but i cant guarantee its the best racket for you. And why the hell you want more power tho if you are a front court player? I myself a front court player, and i always look for a racket that have fast swing speed, great control and great manouverability for playmaking, im not looking for power as i rarely smash.
Hi! I have been playing with my ARCSABER 7 (1st Gen) racket strung at 25 lb with BG65 since 2010 and I have adopted the control as per the racket. I would like to buy another racket with same specs or nearly same specs. Should I buy ARCSABER 7 Pro or Tour or Play or any other racket? I would like to string that new racket with BG65 (due to tight budget). Please recommend me a racket.
Hello I want to ask. how much maximum lbs on the first generation 7 arcsaber? because I just got given the racket by my friend. can this racket with 27 lbs?
Hi CK, can you do a video explaining what happened with Ashaway, I have seen your vids of the tokyo 2020 and all england but no one is using ashaway. are they not a good brand or is it just that Y,V & L are just better? (even M has a couple of users per your vid)
A Year later but well... I have both. 88D Pro is a nice racket, has good power and is nice to use. Really like it. But I got the 7 pro just a few weeks ago and I think it is the better racket. The control is absolutely insane and the speed as well. It's definitely not as powerful as the 88D pro but still, the smashes are really fast and in every other category it's better than the 88D pro, at least for me. I think the 7 pro would be the better choice for most players as it is easier to use and even more all rounded than the 88D pro.
hey there! hope u doing well. just wondering, would the as7p suit me? i’m a huge astrox 88s (1st gen) fans. didn’t like the latest pro series tbh. i’m more of a front court player and didn’t have the best smashing power. i would like to move on from the og astrox 88s as yonex no longer produced it since the pro series came out.
Hello there ! I'm playing with the Arcsaber002 and as it's an old model I can't find any information about it (each website says different things) . Can someone please tell me more about this racket and if I should buy a newer model ?
I remember playing with the old points rules, pretty sure table tennis was the same. Ck i like your reviews but maybe you need to add scores for different categories like out of 10 for power control and ease of use etc
Scoring is very hard because it’s not consistent and is subjective. There’s no standard measure like HP for engines within these scales. It’s all down to how I feel from the rackets 😂
@@CKYew I understand but between the rackets you review, bit like the ultimate power racket, rank them according to your opinion. Vs reviews are the best
@@iimiboy Scoring thing isnt gonna help most people to choose their racket, and for me its more like a hindrance. I almost gave up on buying my current racket which suit me best because i watch other reviewer gave it low scores and said "it was for a FOMO player". Im glad i bought it in the end. And also i bought another racket that those guys gave a high score, just to sell it cause it didnt suit me at all. Coming soon!
I wonder what happened to the Arcsabe Z slash series? It was my first premium racket and I freaking loved it!
They got replaced with the Z-speed (world guiness smash record holder) then got discontinued.
Please do the same for Arcsaber 11
Z Slash is still one of the finest rackets ever made imo.
I love it and still using it, regret only bought one 12 years ago.
If you live in the right area in south east asia, there's still stock in shops! 😂
