    Know what I'm doing tonight when I get home. Thane for being an awesome teacher. Easiest brick stitch tutorial I've seen!

    I first started making jewelry 16 years ago, beginning with these fringed earrings. I've discovered that when completed, the brick stitch at the top is floppy. The solution to that is to coat them with a product called Mod Podge. It goes on appearing milky, but when they dry, the coating is clear and the earrings are now holding their shape. Just a suggestion to help all beaders make their beautiful work even prettier. And, thank you for your great videos. I've been watching you for years.

    Kelly Dale you are the BEST for beginner beaders. I remember watching this channel religiously when I started out in 2017.
    Love these simple fringes Kelly and the ideas to use up a bead mix, I never knew what to do with them until I found fringe earrings ❤❤ which take a bit of patience when they become more complex in design.
    I love my dangles medium length. Thanks for the easy tutorial.

    Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial. The southern accent and cheerful voice are endearing as well. Your instructions make it easy to understand how to detect mistakes and great at explaining why certain steps are necessary. I have strung beads for years, but a beginner with stitching, so I appreciate your patient and detailed instructions.

    Oh my, I can’t believe those glasses!!! My sister and I have those exact ones. The crazy thing is, we bought them at different times not knowing that the other one had bought them. What can I say? We all have great taste in glasses. 👓 😂

    Just found your video and my first attempt was the five fringe, but only because I already had five beads in a row before you mentioned to stop at three if I only wanted three fringes 🙂 But, that gave me more beads to practice with. I will be checking out your other videos and subscribe.

    Beautiful!!! I cannot wait to try this!!! Question, is there a fix to continuing with project if you mistakenly don’t start with enough thread???

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could possibly try square stitching extra beads at the top to add more beads.

  • @catseye1009
    @catseye1009 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Kelly, do you have a tutorial for the earrings you are wearing in this video? No hurry, I am new to bead stitching, so I will try this simple project first.

  • @catestaid5850

    Good job! What kind & size thread did you use?

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  ปีที่แล้ว

      Any type will work but I suggest OneG, KO or Dragon Thread for them

  • @MariahReilly

    This might be a really dumb question, but when you are threading your needle, are you doubling the thread and tying it, or is it a single thread tied somehow?

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a single piece of thread. You don't tie anyting until i show tying the thread. Just pull the thread through about 10-12 inches.

    Will try making them one of these days but we dont get the threads you use here

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Any type of thread will work as long as it's a good draping thread for beading.

  • @JewelrybyJeanette

    This is great, Kelly - nice and easy! I usually wax my Nymo thread. Will that make it too stiff for the fringes? Thanks!

  • @tanyahollingsworth6405
    @tanyahollingsworth6405 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    How long should the thread be?

    How can you make brick stitch look so easy? I follow you and my beads don't go that way

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dianaquintana5787 practice, practice, practice. I’ve been beading for a long time and I can do it quickly but with practice, you’ve got this!!!!

    • @offthebeadedpath
      @offthebeadedpath  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Maybe practice with some larger beads first and then once you have the technique down drop to the smaller beads

  • @danaerickson3403

    This is a great video but I have tried SO many times and I can’t keep the bead straight with the holes up, what am I doing wrong? I feel ridiculous that I can’t do it!😂😂😂
