I Quit My Job As A Laboratory Assistant

- Hello FAM, Welcome Back!
It's a new day and a new vlog. It took some guts to make this vlog about how I was feeling. Finally, I quit my job! I was working as a healthcare science assistant at a clinical microbiology laboratory. I have been suffering from mixed emotions for the past 3 months because of the workload, and not liking it anymore! I was thinking for so long about putting my notice in, but it happens when the time is right. It feels good to quit, but there is also some nervousness as a new chapter awaits! Yes, I am not unemployed, but I am trying to find my dream life that makes me happy, and this lab job wasn't fun anymore. It made me miserable and stressed, rather than happy and peaceful. I wish I could find what I am looking for!

But didi,will you please tell me one thing that if you pursued Masters in Public Health,then why are you undergoing research work in Medical Microbiology which you pursued in your Bachelor's,I mean what is the benefit of pursuing MPH then ? Don't mind,I am just asking,I am curious to know
Public health is a vast field. Healthcare scientist are researchers too who works in labs. Public health associates are healthcare professionals too who works on technical side and projects, manages the lab and equipment, handles the staff and others sendouts. So basically public health allows me to learn and understand how the hospital works. Sometimes, You need to do things you don’t want to in order to reach where you aim for! I hope that answers your curiosity :)
@@priyankakhuman4028 OK I get it,so if I being a dentist,pursue MPH there in UK,will I be able to work as a dentist there in UK,or will there be other job options after pursuing MPH as I have seen few people pursuing MPH abroad after completing bachelors in dentistry in India
@@SOUNAKBANERJEE-ic1ly for any medical practice, doctors or consultants need to give some sort of exam and get registered in UK. I’m not sure about the exam but there is no way that mph allows you to become dentist. You will definitely need to have registration to practice here

Hello, In particular, any biomedical sci or life science field is good to pursue here. I don't know anyone who is doing a food sci degree but micro for a Master's is surely worth it!

My daughter has got offer letter from Kingston University, & London metropolitan university for BSc Bio medical sciences. Also applied for the same at Coventry University. Waiting for an offer letter from there. Which according to you, should be a better university to decide upon? All the universities has IBMS accreditation. But the course at Coventry has HCPC registration also. We don’t know much about these scenario in UK presently. Can you give a guidance? Also, would like to know, is it worth studying in UK for this course ? Do we get a visa sponsorship job. Please reply🙏🏻
@@deepaajai8736 Hello, check if the biomedical sci degree which University is providing has accreditation or not. If the University is accredited, you can go for either of the uni offering letter, just think about the other expenses like cost of living. Coventry could be comparatively cheaper than London.
If she’s doing bachelors, she will need to do portfolio with whichever lab she gets job or are ready to do for her which takes roughly 1/2 year time as trainee BMS. If she’s doing masters from here she can apply for hcpc through International route with her bachelor degree which is bit easy but time taking process with all documents and courses to provide. Check HCPC website for more information on google. London Met is nice as per me but it depends on how modules are covered. Sometimes there are some modules which are excluded that affects hcpc registration. Do a bit more research on this.
