I am happy someone else is sharing my opinion. This dude is so underrated, he needs a better manager or just some luck. It is just unfortunate that top-notch artists like these are not celebrated.
As an American, I am angry that I'm just discovering this gem after hearing it on road to yesterday. His voice is so mesmerizing. I'm definitely a fan. Nigeria, please stop hiding all of this good music from us. It''s not fair
Did anybody else notice his body painted with crude oil? And the mayhem in Nigeria he's singing about. You have to pay attention to hear him. Musical genius!
I was thinking to myself is that oil on his body? I don't understand everything he's saying but I can feel the passion behind this song when he sings. Mad deeeeeep...I had to subscribe
With all the very noisy and shallow music going on around Africa i think we need more of such, BIG UP BRYMO! simple creative cool and most of all Deep and explicit
I'm a Ghanian, I can't go by a day without listening to this guy's music He's truly gifted Wish him long life and good health to continue the good works
As we all can see ,this guy is underrated due to the unhealthy fast food music that is all over the place and the so called crap radio stations that do not play good music like this. Let us help make BRYMO popular with or without them by sharing is realness and uniqueness with friends and family. #yeswecan
Heard this song in the French TV by coincidence with my friends when we visited Paris. We were all instantly moved by the song, it send shivers down my spine. I later forgot both his and the songs name though. But the song has been still on my mind all these years, the memory would show up from time to time. The only thing I knew is that he was Nigerian. So I made a search for Nigerian male singers today, and here we are. I'm so happy I found it again.
I get you 😄 hand same feeling about a song my mum use to play when i was just 4, i knew just few words from the lyrics. searched for it for good 26 years...found it 6 months ago
@@itcanbe9376 nah, if you get he's lyrics very well you will understand he's body is painted with crude oil and also talking about mayhem catastrophic that our leaders had bring to us #fela rebirth
Omg! The Road to yesterday brought me here! I'm a black American and I just love this man's voice! Such an underrated song. I can't stop hitting replay.

This is not how Good the song is guys this guy is telling us the next episode in life. His seen something we haven't seen..... Although he can't talk about at least he can speak in parables...
he has not been singing for sometimes because of the contract issues with the chocolate factory record label that the judge ban him from doing any music for some years. thank he's back
This guy is 100% Real! I wish he could have band. I saw some of his live video and he sings to a track. He is so talented! His words are so powerful. Merchant, Dealers and slaves is my favorite album. I don't understand why people who sing songs without meaning get so much attention. This guy is so talented he should be gold!

This voice has to be heard by the world This guy is so excellent, he should be having sold out concerts all around the globe like his predecessors. He's so underrated it hurts me. Instead of folks to be praising this guy they are praising the AUTOTUNE musicians which have saturated nigerian music industry. I love his voice immensely and I don't even understand or speak yoruba. I am not even Nigerian. I am addicted to his songs, he's my male version of Asa. I think they need to collaborate and tour together. They will sell out concerts everywhere like Senegal Wolof Speaking Yousouu Ndour does. Yousouu comes to London his tickets are sold out in hours. Please oga change your management and PR - they are not marketing you well enough.

Lyrics:
Something dey go round town
People dey go downtown
Some people dey stand around
You wanna to know, go downtown
Them say the Chief
E dey sleep with the thief wife
Aboki for corner
E dey sleep with the chief wife
The neighbor daughter, carry belle for the thief child
Rere run
O run
Something dey go round town
People dey go downtown
The world is spinning round round
The world is going downtown
People dey go uptown
Anyway anyhow now now
Chop your own and clean mouth now
We print and loot and share around
Them say the priest
E dey pray for the thief
Shadaka for Allah
Blood for the spirit
People no bother
Dem they wait on the Lord fa
Rere run
O run
Something dey go round town
People dey go downtown
The world is spinning round round
The world is going downtown
Something dey go round town
People dey slam head for ground
Dem say garri still cost for town
Few people dey smile
More dey frown

Got here from Road to Yesterday. This song captivates the spirit. His voice is incredible. Just bought his new album via iTunes.
I'm so sad I'm now knowing this artist, he is the best of all time
Fantastic, this reminds me of why i love brymo. This is what music really is.

This guy just have a unique way of appealing with me and many serious minded music fans in Africa, Wizkid should better come and learn how to sing. Brymo all the way!!!
Wizkid is talented, Brymo is talented. Lets not create a fuzz between them.
john41996 yes buh talent pass talent... Ain't trying to create any rift just stating the obvious
Babalola Bakrin Wizkid music is pretty much party music, and he's doing damn good in that. Brymo's music is pretty much soul music, and he is also doing pretty damn good in that. They are both talented in their respective styles/fields. You don't play most of Brymo's music at parties as much you don't sit down in a music class to analyse Wizkid's music. You try to compare the two, you would be losing creativity and diversity in the music industry. Brymo is good, but so is Wizkid, they are both great in their respective fields.
john41996 Excellent response... I throw my cap for you, thank you for a constructive argument.
Babalola Bakrin No problem man. Thank you for the smooth convo
