Jerome Flynn & Alex Lawther star in an episode called Shut Up and Dance and both do very well to not give too much away.

This kid's performance was fuckin mind-blowing...that robbery scene was one of the best bits of acting I've seen in ages.

I got to spend some time with Alex during a film festival last week. He is so soft spoken and so sweet. And also awkward in the spotlight as himself, because I think he's just adjusting to being interviewed regularly? I mean he is still new to the concept of becoming more and more well known, so it's going to take some time to figure it out. He's so incredibly talented and has such a bright bright future ahead of him. I hope he doesn't lose his soft spoken charm as his career progresses. Such a lovely young man and I can't wait to see what he does!

I saw him to back stage alot of people are wanting to see this young brilliant wee actor I also see him in the theatre's when he was like 16_17 years old then his debut on TV was holby city then he started to play in Benjamin britten and then on to imitation game so the thing is alex has been in more films in 2016 and 2017 all together he's gonna get his Oscar one day😊 he still stays with his parents from this day

Honestly I would defend him because he isn't a pedo but I mean he did was clearly wrong but he has deal with it and admit it. Plus he (kenny) was tempted to do something that he hopefully thought was disturbing.
If there is one scene in acting history that best exemplifies sheer terror, it's the bank robbery scene in this episode
This episode freaked me the fuck out, I saw it at night and after watching it I spent an hour sleepless and paranoid. So I guess it served its purpose. I put a sticker on my computer camera obviously.
Also this kid is a terrific actor, very talented. Jerome is a gem.

The End of the F***ing World exposed me to Alex Lawther. He was, for the most part, a push over and follower of the character Alyssa (played by Jessica Barden) who said in an interview that they bickered a lot off camera. In this interview his intelligence and inner strength shines. Though he may be soft spoken, I can now see how he, if a clash came, would not let the more extroverted boisterous Jessica Barden always have her way. Loved them both in TEOTFW. Great show as this Black Mirror episode is as well.

Black mirror has put out amazing acting performances... My heart was broken for Alexs' character but at the same time let down and disturbed by the revelation. That's how good he is. Gugu in San Junipero was another amazing performance and the guy from playtest. Amazing acting.

I couldn't believe the ending
I'll just say it here - this episode was a similar experience to when I read lolita. just the temptation of sympathising with the main character even though they were clearly in the wrong. and even though they got what they deserved the victims still don't have an out to their suffering - Dolores is still trapped by Humbert's writing about her and the kids will always be in the video
the scene at the end where Kenny gets the phone call from his mother is one of the most spine chilling pieces of television ive ever seen. the amount of emotion displayed in his facial expression without saying any words is one of the best acting performances ive ever seen. he is amazing

Alex did an incredible job acting.
Alex seems so sweet and is VERY talented. He also has one of the softest, gentle voices ever it’s wonderful. All the love. One of the best actors of all time. My favorite.

do british people (like british society/culture) act more like alex lawther?? this interview seems so quiet (in a good way) and very chill and just beautiful i think. as a quieter american i feel its sortve hard to relate to the majority of my social societal norms because everyone over here is so loud and just super on all of the time. if this is the way you guys are mostly then i want to come visit immediately

I agree they did a nice job I hate how everyone is so "traumatized" by each black mirror episode, each twist is unexpected but they aren't something to overreact over still love this show just hate the overreaction over it
I mean it's okay that you're not so affected by it , I have nothing against that, but I can tell you that these reactions people are having are for the most part not faked or overhyped (to us anyway). I can genuinely tell you that creepy/scary movies don't affect me anymore but this kind of helpless / eternal pain / conflicted feeling that black mirror leaves me after every episode changes something in me that freaks me out and I think other people might share this very reaction .

Probably really shy and a introvert Forest Whitaker is also shy in interviews and he is used to them Older and obviously been around longer than Lawther. Some people are just more laid back and shy.

Don't judge so quickly. It's pretty hard to talk about such an episode without spoiling stuff. In that regard he did a great job. You should maybe listen to what he actually says, instead of constantly judging his way of expressing.
