@@ADHDecent If I'm to be honest, I actually was currently gearing up to do a "clean slate" run of an install of Skyrim AE, but I hadn't really considered switching from Vortex yet. Now though, might as well go all in and give MO2 a shot and see how it goes. Already watched a few of your latest modding tutorial videos, should be good for some inspiration of my next load order, at the very least how things have changed since the last time I modded several years ago.
Amazing! You’ll nail it I’m sure! Honestly, once you’ve passed the initial adapting stage, it’ll be a game changer (literally!). I started my journey with Vortex but I wouldn’t look back now!
@@ADHDecent I just got done reinstalling Vortex and all 100 of my mods on my new machine, and hearing that MO2 is the overall smarter option is having me facepalm myself for not switching when I had the chance. I really don't want to have to redownload and reinstall everything all over again, there were a ton of patches I had to apply in and out of mod installers. Is it, in any way at all, possible to simply migrate everything? Because right now it's feeling like if I want to try MO2, all the time I just spent getting Vortex ready was wasted, and now it's going to be a major time sync to get MO2 up and running with all my mods. I'm concerned about complications with constant crashing now if I don't do a complete full reinstall of everything, including the game itself. I'm admittedly very much still a noob to modding, even if I've done it casually for a few years. Also it should be noted that the advertising in Vortex thankfully doesn't affect me. I bought a lifetime membership back when those were still available, so I have Premium for life. I have no advertising in my Vortex app at all.
Thank you so much. It really means the world to me. I had this script in the making for months! I kept making changes. Researching to ensure I was as accurate as possible. It was very difficult to make but I pushed hoping it would be helpful. I thank you very much. I can’t explain how much it means to me
I love how easy it is to understand vortex, when I tried to switch to MO2 it just seemed very complicated to me for no reason, I think that the vortex rules system along with knowing how to use SSEdit and FO4edit to manage the esp of the mods is perfect. my mod list isn't too big (only 200) but I don't have any problems using vortex,Furthermore, I consider that fnis is much more complete than nemesis, and I have not had any problems using it with vortex
Hey hey welcome back! I'm on the MO2 train, I just can't give up the level of control you can get out of MO2. I'm actually pretty nervous about Starfield modding using only Vortex....
Ah you’re too kind! Thank you I appreciate it. It’s nice to be back behind the desk again! Spending time with friends over summer was a wonderful break and much needed! Yeah once you’ve adapted to MO2, that level of control is not something you want to give up! Starfield will be interesting for sure! It’ll likely be a while before we’re in a similar boat with mod choices as it’s all new. Should be fun watching the progression!
a simple example: you manage two mods and you find out they overwrite each other. vortex: this question of prioriy has to be answered before you completely installed both mods while using mo2 this question doesn`t matter because the two mods do not overwite each other physically. this difference matters if a mod changes and if your mod list is long.
This author has a very good tutorial series and I appreciate it. I am looking at MO2 vs Vortex as a power user. One thing to keep in mind is MO2 does not work for gamepass or Microsoft store games. Starfield from gamepass is free (if you have gamepass) and costs $70 from Steam. Something to keep in mind. I personally use vortex for several games (Baldurs Gate, Starfield (I use the gamepass version). This means IF I use MO2 for other games I will have to use two managers. This is a PITA. Therefore MO2 needs to be significantly better to justify using 2 managers. Right now I am using MO2 for Fallout 4 and Tale of Two Wastelands. But I am using your MO2 series to decide if I want to keep doing that.
I was a long year Vortex user, its a great universal Mod Manager, but MO2 is best for Skyrim Modding, multible mod setups with Profiles, so easy and fast, one click easy switch between loadorders, the virtual file system is absolutly the best thing, MO2 is much faster than Vortex, and has much less harddrive (SSD) stress than vortex. MO2 needs learning, but when you know how to use it, MO2 is epic, epic epic and has so much less errors.
100% spot on. I couldn’t have said it better. Vortex is brilliant as a universal mod manager. Bethesda games require more advanced techniques and applications and MO2 is designed for them. It’s far better for Bethesda games specifically
I'm about to move over to MO2, I love Vortex its so user friendly with its auto fixes and suggestions with built in links etc, but as my mod list is growing I'm finding myself wiping my folder and reinstalling all mods because the suggestions and auto fixes are not really working, here is a TIP that hopefully helps someone out, instead of auto downloading mods with Vortex, make a new download folder with sub folders inside, then manually download your mods to your new folder, then drag and drop the mods into vortex it will install them just the same as auto downloading, but with my method it will save you hours even days of redownloading all your mods if you have to wipe.
Great Video, but man... I don't know what to do here. I have 600 Mods (Skyrim AE), use Vortex and everything works perfectly -> no crashes, all new MCM's load immediately, no conflicts. Yet everyone keeps going on about how much better MO2 is for "veterans" and while I am sure that that's true, I am just too much of a chicken to swap over with SIXHUNDRET mods. Setting 60 MCM's again, not knowing what I have to backup (like: bodyslide files, saves,...) and the risk of having to reinstall the game, if Vortex purging breaks my game, when I have ENB and other things installed, is beyond daunting. I have found a decent video that addresses the basics (by SoulBC), but all the little specific details are menacing ^^'. Thanks for the amazing explanation though, greetings from Austria!
Appreciate your kind words thank you :-) that’s a big challenge for sure. To be honest if your setup works for you, stick with it! Don’t worry about changing unless it can add something beneficial to your modding journey :-)
Vortex is great for modders who have BUSY lives - people who are married w/kids, have r/l friends, responsibilities, etc.. Now, the real question is this: which mod handler is receiving more money each year for development? I cannot answer that with absolute certainty, however, I would imagine that Nexus takes in millions each year, and MO2 takes in...? Ultimately, I think Vortex will win out over MO2; it's simple economics. That's why the MO2 fanboi's have to resort to threats - "If you're not using MO2 we won't help you!" - in order to win converts. So, in summery: Vortex is easy to use for people with busy lives; MO2 is for people who have lots and lots of time on their hands.
As a full time worker, married, three children.. I thought similarly to this when asking redditors about what mods to try and being recommended to MO2.. I only play and mod Bethesda games at the moment and have just begun, and I'm new to PC play to boot.. Having only done a little research (time to is heavily restricted before I feel selfish) I do see the value in both, but would agree that Vortex may be better suited to my few hours snuck in to play here & there
after some time, am going to AGAIN mod skyrim now on a new pc, so I wanted to know what is new, cuz I had some problems with MO2 so I switched to Vortex, like you said super easy to use, very nice for starting(I was kinda new to modding then) but after some time and many mods later, Vortex was having a hard time keeping up.. so again I went back to MO2 and looks like this new build is going to be on MO2 aswell... Thank you
You’re very welcome! :-) I myself started with Vortex as I knew nothing about modding at the time. Eventually I made the change to MO2 and haven’t looked back. Because it’s designed specifically for Bethesda titles where Vortex is designed for many titles, MO2 just feels right at home handling Skyrim
I do luv MO2 more than Vortex, though I've just moved over to GoG game version I tried Vorex 1st time, and I've not used MO2 yet due to figuring out how to use all inc movement types u do like fnis and nemesis that need same folder. guess I'll try it out once I've done this play though :)
My only problem with MO2 is the drop down menus just don't work on my Steam Deck, I've already tried different versions of Proton and Proton GE but I just can't get it to work so I'm stuck with Vortex for the time being.
I actually really appreciate that feedback as it’s something I was potentially looking to cover when I finally grab a deck myself. As naturally I’d want to mod the games I play aha
MO2 is still hands down leaps and bounds ahead of the vortex mod manager. I think the only reason I ever download vortex is for the collections downloader.
I have FO4 with 600+ mods on vortex(why I start use vortex is for collections, instant install tone of mods) ,was good until today when vortex update some moda and now my came crash at loading screen 😭,before I use mo2 and is better 100 times
Yeah, not gonna lie, I got back to Elder Scroll / Fallout games after almost 4 years...and Supposedly, Vortex is the "easiest" option... But I already hit a wall and got annoyed with the appearance of the damn thing. The constant ads, the way the layout looks, all the menus, windows, banners and stuff... It's overwhelming. I think I'll change back to MO2 if anything because I feel it's easier on my eyes. Now I just need to decide which fecking version of Skyrim SP I have to use -. - "... So I'll start with Oldrim if only to practice and while I decide xD
💯 it's a shame really. But luckily mo2 is amazing. I'd suggest the latest version of SSE as I have a guide to go through thr setup which has been tested and its recent. Up to you of course
I miss Nexus mod manager i used it in late 2017 and was so fun to work with. Came back to Skyrim 3 days ago and found out it no longer exists. I tried vortex and downloaded some mods but kept getting frustrated that I cant just drag mods up and down and try it myself. Vortex just "did everything itself" and Im not satisfied with the results. Redownloading Skyrim SE right now so i have a clear installation and gonna try MO2. Hope its at least half as good as Nexus.
Thank you for this video. I just had the worst experience with Vortex and switched to MO2. And also I don't think that Vortex has a "clean interface" whatever that is. I think MO2 has a clean interface without useless shit.
Hello ADHDecent I'm new to modding, started two days ago I know you make useful helpful video guides for Vortex and Mod organizer 2 thank you for all the help you've given not just to myself but everyone else. Anyhow, my video request is how to fix the overwrite at the bottom of a mod list in MO2 it's a problem I don't really know how to handle or fix the issue, so when you have the time it would be a big help to see how to handle this issue see you around happy new year.. :)
First time Skyrim player here (I know, 2024 first time player 😂), I used to mod a lot on Fallout 4 using Vortex, but I installed a lot of mods so it usually cannot resolve all the conficts. Should I move to MO2?
yeah once i started adding more involved mods vortex flat out crashed and then wiped my entire mod setup leaving me frustrated as to how such an oversight in what is supposed to be an easy to manage application it sure has forced me into using mo2 just because losing hours of configuration just for vortex to retroactively wipe everything ive done due to an error with vortex its self
I've been using MO2 for years; in fact, I find it simpler and easier to understand than Vortex. However, right now I have an issue with the virtual files. I'm using Creation Kit and NifSkope to modify the appearance of a follower, but I need to grab some .nif and .DDS files, and I think MO2 makes it impossible to access them. Even using the BSA Browser mod doesn't work.
So, if I understand correctly. When MO2 shows you a conflict, you just move a file over another in the order list and that's it or is there more to it? That seemed a bit vague in that part of the video to me.
if ive alrdy started w vortex and broke it using FNIS where everyone is stuck in t-pose, can i seemlessly just start over w MO2? i need to fix the t-posing!!!!
Hi Decent. Great videos you've been making. In 2017 I got into modding FO3 and New Vegas with NMM before Vortex was released. I remember the hype from Nexus developers that Vortex was gonna have a cleaner user interface than NMM and be overall easier to use, and handle your mods for you. Just as I was beginning to get comfortable(ish) with NMM in 2018 / 2019... Vortex launched. So I tried switching over to it and really tried giving it a chance. To me the Vortex interface is anything but cleaner. Instead of a simple set of lists, it is a bunch of bulky, random, oversized intrusive tiles, like this is Windows 8 all over again. No one asked for Windows 8. No one! And NOW lookit. Widows 11 is some kinda bastard mutant beast child of Windows 8 and Mac OS!!! What timeline is this? I get the same feeling with Vortex. NMM = Windows 7 and Vortex = Windows 8 . Clown faced and cluttered, with useless tiles that hide most of the real functions of the operating system. It's like NMM was the university physics professor in the lecture hall, and Vortex is Billy Madison's kindergarten teacher on the classroom rug playing Peek-a-Boo with the new kids on the first day of school. There's this uneasy feeling that behind all those happy little Vortex tiles are my hidden NMM files. Like Vortex is playing Hide n Seek with my mods, and never lets me find out where they went. So I uninstall. Bye bye mods. Bye bye Vortex. Will be trying Mod Organizer 2. I'm hoping it's much more like Nexus Mod Manager and absolutely nothing like Vortex. Thanks, Decent. Keep up the great work.
Appreciate the kind words thank you. I think if that’s where you stand with Vortex then you and I have very similar preferences. Im the same. In my experience, they’ve tried too much to create a modern UI that its become a pain to navigate and difficult to actually use. MO2 is simplicity in its perfect form. Let me know how you get on with it!!
@@ADHDecent Thanks, will do. I have some other priorities getting in the way for the immediate future. However, thanks to your short and concise step by step Bethesda focused videos early in your channel, I will be able to sit down and install one tool at a time as I find the time. I'm sure that Mod Organizer 2 will be my manager of choice once I settle into it. Cheers!
Hi. I need your advice. I wanted to switch from FNIS to Nemesis. At the very beginning, the problem was error 5001. So I installed Fix for non-US Nemesis, which, however, needs to be sputit- Add as Executable. But I can't find it in Vortex at all. Can I install MO2 and use it simultaneously with Vortex to run Nemesis? I'm a beginner, I modded pretty well through FNIS. Thank you and sorry for my bad English.
How much would a large cargo order be? I plan to have 100, the 50 I have now, plus the 50 NSFW from the AAF article. (Fallout 4) quanto seria uma ordem de carga grande? pretendo ter 100, os 50 que tenho agora, mais os 50 NSFW do artigo AAF. (Fallout 4)
I am using vortex but 2 mods I have has an issue, I can simply fix it by changing the loadorder but Vortex don't have that funktion, so guess I will have to delete everything and start from scratch with a new manager.
I’m looking forward to creation engine for Starfield to come out so I can use MO2 for it. You can use a beta version now but all hugs not worked out yet. So I’m just doing manual installs of mods. Looking forward to Starfield how to videos from ya in the future
Appreciate it! I look forward to covering Starfield in the near future when there’s more stuff to cover for it (and I’ve saved up for the game itself!) I found when covering Hogwarts Legacy at first, there were so many updates and changes it invalidated the videos too quickly. Luckily I can now cover it again as it’s settled but it’s been a learning process for Starfield in that respect!
@@ADHDecent oh yeah new games go through growing pains, and Bethesda titles especially as they rush to fix what’s broken and usually break other things in the process. Right now’s kind of like the lull before the storm after they release the creation engine it will explode within the modding community. Look forward to seeing the videos. I’m making a few on some of the mods I’m currently using including Reshade and how it’s a game changer for starfield and changes the atmosphere of the game entirely. Made a few already on a few ship builds I’ve done as well. They have done fairly well for my channel as I’m not a creator just a novice looking to learn something new. Good luck to ya.
Want to keep your game files pristine? MO2. Want to install a mod in less than 5 seconds in most cases? MO2. Want to have a program that does not crash every hour when working on big lists? MO2. Want to have a mod manager that does not make mistakes and mess your game up? MO2. Vortex cannot even compare, it is nothing more than buggy shit. After spending hundreds of hours using vortex I have had too many crashes and bugs to count. In the thousands of hours with MO2 I have had around 1 or 2. My preference is the one that is actually reliable. MO2
the thing about modding is when you want to download a mod, it requires another 6-7 mods. I wanted to add like 15-20 mods, now i ended up with 80-85, messed all the rules and load orders, now i deleted skyrim bewcause of that.Maybe i should start with mo2 now
Mods can be tricky simply because of what they’re capable of doing. If you’re looking to drastically change the game then you’ll need multiple mods as they work off of each other. The coordination required can be interpreted as a game studio where the different branches of the company will develop different areas within the game itself. The bonus of the studios is they have the opportunity to work together and bundle the elements into a nice package. With modders, people halfway around the world all try to create mods that work together. Because of this, they create applications and tools to allow you to do so. Sadly it does mean more work invested into a setup but when you break down what these mod developers have achieved it’s mind blowing and well worth it
ok so I'm considering firing back up skyrim but I see I have a long long list of mods that can be updated and the way to do that is to remove the mod and reinstall?? My god
So.. load order of items with no conflicts is a red herring. It makes zero difference what order non-conflicting items load in. Conflicts have a winner and that is the file used. If there is no conflict then it does not matter where the item loads.
I only want to use vortex for collections I cant bring myself to spend valuable time on troubleshooting and making my own modlist its all just too time consuming
I am brand-new to modding and started with Vortex. It is horrible. I have been using computers since I was a wee girl of 3 years (my brother's Atari 800 back then) and my brain is wired for logic. Vortex is anything but. The very first thing I learned was about the load order when I was just using Bethesda's Creations, and how important that is - and there's absolutely no freaking, satisfying way in Vortex to handle that? Last night I installed the first big one with tons of supporting mods (Kaidan - now Skyrim makes fun again! Bethesda should be ashamed that they fail do deliver "immersiveness" like that!) and it broke my Skyrim as the load order is a huge pile of you know what. It has put USSEP not on first place where it belongs but after loading some minor mods, the Cutting Room stuff is on place 89 although it belongs under USSEP ... I could go on. I feel I have nil control with Vortex, and a thing as simple and important as a load order, should be a thing, shouldn't it? Thank you so much for this video - so, so helpful and I already downloaded the MO2. Now let's see how I get rid of Vortex ... ... ... (And thank you for explaining the behind the scenes! It's quite a "shock" that it basically has the potential to corrupt the game files themselves. Sounds like a virus to me ... just saying ... )
I got so upset as i spend days tryinng to make all mods work in vortex and i got no errors and solved all conflicts but still only a small pool of mods would work when i start the game.
It varies. Size of the mod list never really matters as much as the complexity of the mods installed that can make or break a build. If you’re in a position where you want to change or upgrade the vast majority of the game then I’d consider it a large list.
Aún sigo sin entender porque las personas que hablan inglés explican mejor y tienen más información sobre algunos temas que en mi idioma ni lo toman en cuenta
Let me just say if you want to seriously get into modding paying the 6 bucks for premium nexus is going to save you RIDICULOUS amounts of time i swear to god just do it. 1/3 the amount of clicks, faster process if u have a modlist u just need to download, i think faster download speeds not sure. They also add a 5 second wait time for free accounts.
WARNING VIDEO MADE BY A MO2 REPRESENTATIVE 😏 From the first few seconds I figured you have a biased agenda and I was correct. Your a MO2 PR representative. And I’m guessing your task is to move people away from using one system to the other - making this video of no real value when it comes to asking the audience to make a decision. Your MO2 premium advertizing representative trying to force people covertly into using MO2. That’s what I got from this video. This was not a good video. Now on the other hand I can argue for MO2 as I indeed use both (I know the work-arounds) but I don’t need to hammer on about how much better the past is than the present. I find vortex to be far superior. Vortex It can do everything MO2 does and is and it’s less controlling than you think. It will suggest things and hold your hand but you still have the freedom to change things and do things less controlled all you got to do is know how to use the programme for you and not against you. I must admit I didn’t even notice the aggressive premium advertizing until you pointed it out as I’m focused on what I’m doing, it’s just background flavor. Though I did notice you passive aggressively showing your opinion. I found that fascinating. I would like to see a video made on using both Vortex and MO2 from a totally neutral point of view to give the audience a real and fair chance to make up their own minds For those thinking you can’t move things around as you wish, well you can just watch Gophers videos. You can move things around as you wish and you can make huge mod lists as long as your experienced with Xedits and making bashed patches and so on. Other than my bafflement over your video presentation stylings I’d suggest people skip ahead all the bias dry air and get into the meat and gravy @8:25 “Hard link deployment” Now that was great info definitely something that newbs should be aware of. For that reason you gotta a bit of respect from me. Other than that a very agenda driven video that will be loved by people who love the old days and I bet the comments will be popping up here. Anyways thanks for the video it was a strange watch I know you can do better🫡
Tbh watching this video definitely feels like a "go with mo2 cos this is better, that is better etc" rather than a list of pros and cons for each Just my 2 cents

Amazed a video like this hasn't been made before. Well done.
I’ve used both and just prefer MO2. Nothing wrong with vortex but I learned on mo2 and it’s just my preference
It’s certainly a powerful manager!
a simple example: you manage two mods and you find out they overwrite each other. vortex: this question of prioriy has to be answered before you completely installed both mods while using mo2 this question doesn`t matter because the two mods do not overwite each other physically. this difference matters if a mod changes and if your mod list is long.
Nicely put. A great deal of people would do well to know and watch that video when freshly getting into modding.
I’m honoured. I truly appreciate your kind words, thank you. It really means a lot
I don't comment on videos much but I have to say this was so informative for me. Very clear and concise. MO2 it will be for Starfield.
I’m really very grateful for your incredibly kind words. Means a lot that you’d take the time to comment. I thank you
This author has a very good tutorial series and I appreciate it.
No way people actually play starfield.
An amazing work. This channel is amazing. Great job!
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it!
Very informative and I will be switching to MO2 because I'm always changing things.
To be honest, I just started mod with my first pc, and I started using vortex it wasn't long when I switched to mod2
How so? Hows it better?
I just got a PC and am using vortex bc MO2 seemed so intimidating. But I feel like down the road MO2 will be better.
Thanks
@DomBogey94 in my personal opinion, mod2 just offers a lot more flexibility when moding your games. I think it's worth the process if you give it time
Great Video, but man...
I used MO from day 1 and I love it but if you have vortex with no issues no real point in switching
Having only done a little research (time to is heavily restricted before I feel selfish) I do see the value in both, but would agree that Vortex may be better suited to my few hours snuck in to play here & there
im gonna be real when you spend like 30 minutes using mo2 its just as fast as vortex
after some time, am going to AGAIN mod skyrim now on a new pc, so I wanted to know what is new, cuz I had some problems with MO2 so I switched to Vortex, like you said super easy to use, very nice for starting(I was kinda new to modding then) but after some time and many mods later, Vortex was having a hard time keeping up.. so again I went back to MO2 and looks like this new build is going to be on MO2 aswell... Thank you
You’re very welcome! :-) I myself started with Vortex as I knew nothing about modding at the time. Eventually I made the change to MO2 and haven’t looked back. Because it’s designed specifically for Bethesda titles where Vortex is designed for many titles, MO2 just feels right at home handling Skyrim
Well said. Subscribed and using M02.
I appreciate it thank you. Means a lot to me :-)
I do luv MO2 more than Vortex, though I've just moved over to GoG game version I tried Vorex 1st time, and I've not used MO2 yet due to figuring out how to use all inc movement types u do like fnis and nemesis that need same folder. guess I'll try it out once I've done this play though :)
Thankyou, im newcomer modder for skyrim. I using vortex but i have many crash. I will try to use MO2 😂🎉
MO2 what is my purpose?
Me: you download all the skyrim mods I want and that's it.
MO2: Oh my god.
I use dark mode to...love it!
Best choice! ;-)
I just use both
Thank you for this video.
Fantastic suggestion! I thank you for your incredibly kind words and the topic to cover. I’ll add it to the list! :-) I appreciate you
First time Skyrim player here (I know, 2024 first time player 😂), I used to mod a lot on Fallout 4 using Vortex, but I installed a lot of mods so it usually cannot resolve all the conficts.
Really great and informative video, appreciate it!
Thank you! Appreciate your kind words! Glad I could help :-)
Not quite. Mod Priority and Load Order are different. This video will help explain: th-cam.com/video/FNxzayPLMJ0/w-d-xo.html
@@ADHDecent Awesome that's exactly what I needed. Looks like I'm using MO2 now!
if ive alrdy started w vortex and broke it using FNIS where everyone is stuck in t-pose, can i seemlessly just start over w MO2?
i need to fix the t-posing!!!!
NMM = Windows 7 and
Vortex = Windows 8 .
Clown faced and cluttered, with useless tiles that hide most of the real functions of the operating system.
It's like NMM was the university physics professor in the lecture hall, and
Vortex is Billy Madison's kindergarten teacher on the classroom rug playing Peek-a-Boo with the new kids on the first day of school.
Cheers!
the collections system of Vortex messed up my game. i think this is the time to switch to MO2
HDT-SMP (Skinned Mesh Physics)
Thank you and sorry for my bad English.
am should always open skyrim from SKSE? or can i open it from steam?
How much would a large cargo order be? I plan to have 100, the 50 I have now, plus the 50 NSFW from the AAF article. (Fallout 4)
quanto seria uma ordem de carga grande? pretendo ter 100, os 50 que tenho agora, mais os 50 NSFW do artigo AAF. (Fallout 4)
Fantastic, thank you!
You’re welcome! :-)
@AzViking69 it’ll be an exciting development for sure! And congrats on the videos! Wish you the very best with them :-)
So what do I do with Vortex, if I want to Switch over to MO2??
Sadly it does mean more work invested into a setup but when you break down what these mod developers have achieved it’s mind blowing and well worth it
thank you so much for this sir
You’re very welcome! :-)
10:54 Why? How? I don't get this point.
ok so I'm considering firing back up skyrim but I see I have a long long list of mods that can be updated and the way to do that is to remove the mod and reinstall?? My god
So.. load order of items with no conflicts is a red herring.
Sounds like a virus to me ... just saying ... )
Happy to help! :-)
I got so upset as i spend days tryinng to make all mods work in vortex and i got no errors and solved all conflicts but still only a small pool of mods would work when i start the game.
What is considered a large mod list?
It varies. Size of the mod list never really matters as much as the complexity of the mods installed that can make or break a build. If you’re in a position where you want to change or upgrade the vast majority of the game then I’d consider it a large list.
Btw can you make a video on how to switch from vortex to mo2?
Great suggestion. I’ll add it to the list!
Downloaded Mo2 a while ago.........So much more efficient.
ALSO - PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME THE NAME OF THE INTRO SONG!!!!!
It certainly is!
Details for the intro song can be found under credits in the video description :-)
The premium service of Nexus is more valuable to me than most of my streaming services so...
Aún sigo sin entender porque las personas que hablan inglés explican mejor y tienen más información sobre algunos temas que en mi idioma ni lo toman en cuenta
Mo2 is better. Don't download Vortex. Mo2 only looks hard to use, it's actually extremely simple.
MO2 all the way!!!
i can use MO2 for modpacks or doesnt work for that ?
Yes
@@ADHDecent can you make a tutorial ? Bc i tryed and i couldnt made it, it will be so helpfull
It'll be covered in future at some point :)
The main problem with vortex is the adjusting the load order, you really don't have a clear way of doing it
Let me just say if you want to seriously get into modding paying the 6 bucks for premium nexus is going to save you RIDICULOUS amounts of time i swear to god just do it. 1/3 the amount of clicks, faster process if u have a modlist u just need to download, i think faster download speeds not sure. They also add a 5 second wait time for free accounts.
WARNING VIDEO MADE BY A MO2 REPRESENTATIVE 😏
From the first few seconds I figured you have a biased agenda and I was correct.
Just to confirm; is this a joke or are you being genuinely serious? Because I yo-yod back and forth with each line so I want to confirm first
Me when I don't take my meds...
Tbh watching this video definitely feels like a "go with mo2 cos this is better, that is better etc" rather than a list of pros and cons for each
Just my 2 cents
idk if any other autists exeperience this, but the infoboner I got from hearing that mo2 had a lot of intital info to take in was tuly palpable

I must admit, I wouldn’t begin to try to use Wabbajack with Vortex. I’m sure people have got it to work but it’s vital for the level of control and manual adjustments needed with Wabbajack that MO2 is the preferred choice
