This current update was great! 2.9.5 sounds exciting with the new arcade update, also Feature Friday now sounds like it's formatted better with less gameplay and more variety. That's a great change! For 2.9.6 however, I think it should be focused on more character options. This is my opinion, and of course you don't have to agree. Before I begin, all of these ideas would probably work better in character DNA as new tabs, but it's up to you if you end up doing any of these. I think what you have so far with the character DNA is a great, nice job! Though there is a lot more you could add. For starters, projectiles could have a custom sprite animation (or artwork). I agree that simplicity can be a great option, but I don't want that to be the only option. Some people like going all out on everything. Next, I think you should add custom character damage animations that would override the character's current animation for 1-2 seconds. For example, I'm jumping, and I get hit by something, the jump animation would cancel into the damage animation until the seconds have passed returning to the previous animation. With a character having a custom damage animation, it would show more personality of the character. Furthermore, custom/colored heart sprites would be pretty neat too, though the sprite itself would be limited for sizing issues. A good example would be in the new featured game, Blue Dungeons by Bumstronaut 52_52. Of course, the developer may disagree with me, which is completely fine, having a blue heart instead of red could have visually worked better for their game. I got this idea from The Binding of Isaac and Cult of the Lamb since there are different types of hearts (it's not important of a change, just a small one if it's possible). Finally, a new movement system (which is optional to the one you have already made). Instead of a character running at the same speed for the whole game, by holding a key/button, the character would slowly increase speed the longer you hold it. You could call this sprinting and adding an optional stamina bar with that could also work. I got this idea from Pizza Tower, which a remake was once featured on this platform. So yeah, these were just some of my ideas. I know that this would be a lot just for one update. So instead, you could either separate these into different updates or add these to Bloxels 3.0 because we all know that will be a game changer. With the Bloxels team though, I believe whatever you add will be worthwhile. If you read all of this, thanks for listening to my opinion even if you agree or not, have a good one!

Ex: Must have specific key Ex: Must have a specific amount of coin 2: Transitions Transitions should be in the toggles section, and what they do is make any type of block move. I know this can just be made by strictly editing art blocks but this will make the process simpler. As an example you can configure the toggle on a block then it would say, How many tiles will the block move? Ex: 5 to the right + Flip Block Art + 5 to the left. How many times shall the block repeat this process? Ex: 8 times or ♾️ Does this transition require a chain reaction? Ex: True or False If the game creator chose true, what chain code does it link to? Ex: 1-100 3: Advanced Character Editor This might be a bit more confusing to implement into the game but what should be in the updated version of the character editor should have features for Platformer Mode and Top Down Mode character, While creating a new character, it should have a question that says, “Will this character be in platformer mode or top down mode?” In Character DNA, there should also be an option for the character to have the stomp ability and the projectile ability at the same time. If chosen platformer mode what buttons / keys will the player have to use while in game? Ex: DPadDown, DPadUp, Select Key. Platformer Mode Section: Button / Key _ will make the hero ___. or Button / Key _ + _ will make the hero ___. or When hero moves to left or right for ___ seconds makes the hero ___. or When hero stops moving makes the hero ___. Features to add: Set speed level to 1 or 2 or 3. Shoot projectile. Switch to flight mode. Buttons to add in the first blank sections: B / Space Key, A / Shift Key, DPadUp / Key linked to this button, DPadDown / Key linked to this button. Top Down Mode Section: Same Button System, except the up button and the down button, that’s just replaced with the DPadButtons. 4: Advanced Character Art There should be art for every action the character does, there should be an art section for character walking, such as just walking art, running art, and sprinting art. There should be another art section for jumping, which should be double jumping and flight. When a character fires a projectile, there should be art for that too. When a character takes damage or dies there should be art for that, and when interacting with a story block. 5: Hitbox There should be an option where you can change some of the enemies hitboxes like as an example: Sonic the hedgehog below an badnik, he jumps and the badnik is destroyed. Like I’m trying to say as long as the character touches an enemy while jumping or falling they shouldn’t take damage. 6: Social In the Search Bar, there should be a section where you can search for people. Then you can see their profile avatar, their name and previous names, games, and game updates. And when you click a game in the arcade or in the profile, there should be a comment section where other people can give feedback on games. Of course you can add a comment filter if you think it would be necessary. And Direct Messages, so you can talk to a game creator in private. 7: Music Update In Settings, there should be an option to have only Bloxels created music or Player Created Music, or both! There will be another section in Music Tracks called, User Generated Tracks. There should be a profanity and copyright filter for every track, and a search bar too!

@@Arkouvam I understand that, but what I meant was the option to jump and shoot at the same time. Right now, we can only jump *or* shoot, which is a tiny bit limiting. It’d be great if we could do both, and we have enough buttons. (B for stomping, and A for shooting.) I hope you have a great day.
I had 2 games that implemented areas with shorter ceilings that only shorter characters could go through, but they now made it so any character can walk through areas even if the ceiling is 3 pixels shorter than they are, so now those games are technically broken.
Can you add stuff like: - A swing machine (vine or a purple lum) - A Roll Mechanic - Additional Animations like Punch, Death - Change the sprites of the FX Attacks
An idea that I keep hearing and agreeing to is melee combat for playable characters so people can choose from either shooting enemies or jumping on them but using hand to hand combat and it'd be cool to create hand to hand sprite animations. And maybe sprite animations for if the playable character loses all their health. Just an idea.

ah.. it was all just a hunk of false hope but, on the topic of profiles and other: it’d be nice if you could like or dislike games, and/or comment on them (maybe not commenting though, as the majority of the player base consists of more vulnerable people-so maybe if the comments have to go through moderation before being sent it could work.) Also, since the most popular tab hasn’t changed for like forever, I think it would be a good idea to add a sort button for “most popular games of the week” or something. Anyways, I’m very happy with this update (even though it came out over a year ago)! Can’t wait to see what you guys are cooking up next..

I must add this: since you guys cut the "Most Popular" section and made it "top 100" section, it made almost imposible for new games to reach those plays. I mean, the las one has more than 75,416 plays! Considering if your game makes it to the Featured section, its almost imposible that it reaches plays enough on the 15-20 days its there.
The graphics in this update were great! Also, I just finished my newest game, Cracker Kid. It comes with 16 levels, makes a good use of Warps with a world map and uses loot and weather. ID (because link never appears): 92139362
