Listened this song on radio while driving in Dubai. After sometime i closed it. Because I couldn’t control my emotions 😢. No doubt partition was biggest tragedy for those who migrated.
A now Lucknow-based man who got separated from his lover (Husna, who lives in Lahore owing to the 1947 Partition) conveying his unrequited love for her in a letter addressing it to her address (listen to the starting lines of the song) seeking to know his perspective on the state of affairs around her post the partition.........
