Um outro problema com alguns professores no TH-cam é que eles abrem um livro didático e traduzem, sem realmente saber como explicar esses assuntos para alunos que tem português como sua língua materna. Isso não é muito prático na minha opinião.

    Apareceu seu vídeo no TH-cam! Tenho muita dificuldade em falar. Depois que estou passando por discriminação e bullying no meu trabalho, senti mais insegurança. Como estava explicando saber ouvir e falar certo. Me Sinto muda! O triste é quê muitos Brasileiros não sabem e zombam da própria etnia, isto dificulta no aprendizagem. Muito interessante seu método de ensinar.Minha colega de trabalho é Britânica me disse bem devagar e calmo, não se stressa o English é muito difícil, devagar você aprende. Algumas nuances do português: "Olhando PARA a Christina agora" (olhando em direção à ela) | "Olhando A Christina agora" (cuidando, tomando conta dela) / "Eu estou PROCURANDO por minhas chaves perdidas" (tentando achar) | "Eles estão BUSCANDO por uma pessoa desaparecida" (procurando minuciosamente) / "Eu não ME pareço COM ele" / You remind me a 007 actor. / OUVINTES soa melhor (audiência, usamos como parâmetro de público que assiste algo Na TV) / I'll look into it (soa melhor com: (vou averiguar isso) ou até: (vou estudar isso com calma).

    Can look into mean to examine something carefully? As in
    I read the report but didn't have time to look into the details.
    In this case, would get into be better?
    Look over means examine something superficially, right? Something similar to our 'dar uma olhada'.

      I would advise you not to think of "looking into the details" in that context. The most common thing to say would be, "I didn't have time to look closely at the details".
      "Look over" is similar to "dar uma olhada".

    só mais uma dúvida:
    you say "look up on Google" (imagino porque seja uma tela e você passa os olhos) and "in the dictionary" (talvez porque abra, fisicamente... ou seria porque vai procurar entre várias coisas).
    aliás (é realmente uma dúvida), se você vai procurar no dicionário intalado no seu computador... vai ver na tela, portanto... ainda assim é look up in the dictionary (dentro...) ? ou aí seria on, porqye se subentende que é olhando na tela?

    Dr. Cooper, only a curiosity: Although crocodiles and alligators are very similar, there is no crocodiles in Brazil, but only alligators. There are different species of alligators, specially in Center-west and North regions of Brazil. As far as I know, crocodiles are widely found in Africa. I'm not sure if they are to be found in Asia too.

      "I'll do some research about that" is similar to "I'll look into that," but it's less common, "I'll reseach that" can also be used, but it can sound strange in some ways. "Research," is more often conntected to science in English than "pesquisar" is in Poruguese. Though, "I'll do some research about that," is not weird, I would enourage you to make a point of using the expression that's more common since it will eventually your listening, and, also, since it will work in all contexts.

    Os portugueses também tem dificuldade igual os brasileiros para aprender inglês ou eles têm mais facilidades porque em Portugal muita gente fala inglês fluente , no Brasil muito poucos. 🇧🇷👍👍👍

      Eu acho que tbm é uma questão de oportunidade de praticar. Na Europa tem mais pessoas que são poliglotas devido aos países serem próximos e a questão turística ajudar e incentivar o aprendizado.

    Em Português, "olhando a/o" tem significado de "vigiar" ex.: "estou olhando as crianças". Olhar para significa olhaŕ em direção a algo ou alguém.
