I got the same tank for my leopard gecko. I love the fact it's low profile and still this long. It's clearly THE Mansion for Leopard Geckos since they don't need the height but will appreciate all the floor space. I love this tank and its look as much as my Leo does lol. This is the best tank you can get for a leopard gecko, perfect height, excessive width and perfect depth. The 18inch tall is a bit much for Leopard Geckos specifically as they don't climb, and falling from anything more than 10 inches high could injure them... it's not advised to go higher than 16.. and just doesn't have the same super sleek look/appeal to it. Personally I also have a bright blue Ornate Uromastyx and keep him in a 48x24x18 and it has the same look at the 36 wide x 12 height does. Even though I think my Uro would be fine in a 36x18x12. I wanted him to have a bit more floor space... Especially since my Leo who is half the size has that amount of space... but also once you move up to 24 deep and 48 wide, there is no 12 high.. So I have him in that 48x24x18 setup.. However for looks and my want for another Leo.. I need to get one more 36x18x12 to have one on either side of my Uro setup.. More than likely I am getting a Dark Knight Gecko or a White Knight/Radar (leopard gecko).. PS. I have even bigger enclosures where I breed Ornate Uromastyx but that is not on display for everyone to see in my living room lol (Also I do not own the female Uro and she is literally lent to me by a friend when breeding season is approaching and I oversee everything, including raising the hatchlings). But seriously this is the sexiest looking enclosure
They need a warm spot between 85 and 90 degrees Farenheit (that’s what I use the heat mat for) and you can just let the rest of the enclosure settle where it will. Usually between 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. I keep my house around 73. But the enclosure seems to maintain a proper temperature gradient just from having heat on one side.

Waqas Shaban there is no lighting on this tank. Leopard geckos don’t need uv lighting and being an albino he’s particularly sensitive to light anyway. He gets his D3 from dietary supplements.
Wow I love Ghost's new upgrade. It looks amazing! I feel the calcium struggles. I always end up dropping some on the from of my exo terra too 😂 it never stays clean! I like his cool hide. I don't think we have that at my Petsmart. The dessert rocks look so nice and natural ❤️

Ghost will love this so much! He has SO much room now. Tip for the heat mat: use aluminum tape! Its amazing I use it for all my heat mats now

A drainage layer does not determine a bioactive. A bioactive means there is more than 1 living species in an enclosure.
