Unless those boots came with instructions not to walk in them, then you should see how hard it is to get a replacement or a refund. Some people might buy these so they can wear them, and then they start to come apart at the seams! Not good enough for shoes over $2000.
$2000 shoes falling apart at the first wear. That's upsetting for sure.

Mia, we all know you’re like the nicest person ever (and love you for it!) and never complain but please contact the company that made the shoes, I don’t care how unusual they are, no shoe should be falling apart after couple of hours of wear, especially with that price tag!
If this were me, I personally would feel SO MUCH better having my mother there to share in my embarrassment! Thank you Momma Maples for being so amazing!!

It’s kind of offensive to pay that amount of money for shoes to fall apart on the first use. Sorry that happened.
You should ask for a refund 100%. These were not cheap shoes and if they are coming apart in the first wear they should really compensate you. Even if you had no intentions of wearing them and it was bought just for the video, but still, it's your hard earned money. You could donate that refunded money. But why give it to an organisation who's not giving you your money's worth?
As a depressed 30 year old, Mama Maples is what i aspire to be.
Even if the boots are mainly for “show” there is no excuse for a boot being that poorly made, especially for how much money they were.

I'm only halfway through the video, but as a fellow young bunion sufferer who has suffered from literally 5 years old (!!) on BOTH FEET - thank you so much for mentioning that you have them. I literally never tell anyone that I have them because of embarrassment even though they cause me immense pain - so honestly well done for getting through the day in those shoes! I know you must have suffered for a few days afterwards, so kudos to you!
