Meat eater is honestly a gift from god. The amount of content they put out is insane, from the show, to the books, to the podcasts, to the many TH-cam series, and I can’t get enough. By far the best hunting content out there, there’s not even a close second. Keep spreading the good word!

I appreciate how good these guys are at what they do. How in sync they are with each other. How they too can traverse the landscape at Steve's pace, at elevation, while carrying their own gear. How good they are to be able to not ruin the hunt inadvertently. They're as good as it gets from my perspective, but I'm sure they have stories about how things went wrong.

Idea- link up with Chef Roi Choi or Chef David Chang for a celebrity cooking co-host episode. He's an amazing chef who like Steve uses traditional foods from different cultures and combines or alters the techniques and recipes with amazing results. I bet he could help Steve figure out other ways to solve some of the different cooking problems associated with different game meats.
They're both funny as heck and specialize in creating new recipes and are definitely open to new experiences like hunting, as you can tell from their Netflix cooking shows, "The Chef Show" and "Ugly Delicious". I bet Steve could take them on a hunt based around what type of game they want to experiment with and make 2 episodes out of it! Take care y'all!

What are these trips like for them?” And it auto played to this episode without me ever seeing the title or knowing anything about it and BOOM, not just one but two episodes showing the guys behind the scenes.

So frustrating when you're finding good sign, but its all 1-2 weeks old and the deer seemed to have vanished. Most of us have def been there. Its also interesting how Steve's public land spots never seemed to pan out over the years while filming this show, and how much more success they started having once professional guides like Jay Scott, Remi Warren and other industry contacts started sharing waypoints and offeing guidance on when and how to hunt it. If you listen to the podcast, Steve often mentions how they don't e-scout for unit selection, or do any boots on the ground scouting anymore, and haven't for some time. All they have to do now is keep themselves in good enough shape to hike to the glassing knobs that are texted to them, and use their thousands of dollars in free optics to spot the animal. If you're not selecting the unit , or how and when to hunt it, you're not really hunting in my book. You're a client with a free guide doing much of the hunting for you. That's why its so frustrating when the meat eater team members talk about how much they love wolves. They seemed to have forgot how hard it is to find your own productive, public land spots that don't require years of building pref points. And how devastating it is when wolves were introduced into your area in your home state. We all can't text Remi Warren and get new spots in other states to hunt like they can.
