Stan Bowles was a wonderful player who was immense at QPR and be remembered for years to come still. RIP.
I remember him well. He was such an elegant player. May he rest in peace.

Didn’t the Crewe manager say of him. ‘If only he could pass a betting shop like he passes a football’. A reminder of when entertainment was a factor in football. He gave so many happy memories to fans everywhere.

Deeply sad news, QPR were one of my favorite teams to watch on TV when I was a child and I remember the skill of Stan and the way he used his footballing brain to play and to avoid them crunching tackle's that some other not so skillful players did do to other players like Stan to try and injure them and get them off the pitch to influence the game in their team's favour, there was good tackling back then but also some absolutely terrible one's as well, I can definitely say football has become more skillful with a lot less dirty tackling in the modern beautiful game and I know that Stan would have appreciated how the game has changed for the better..RIP Stan ⚽.❤

No,it must be kept....never "Retired" nor "Rested...,that would be terrible,the QPR number 10 is forever and brings great memories to all Rangers fan every time we see it....That number represents Rodney Marsh,Tony Currie and many other greats who graced it at Loftus Road too.
