So, I have been using the bond curl repair salve for a while now and I LOVE it. I do not straighten my hair but I use it to help maintain my protein-moisture balance. However, yesterday I used the multi task conditioner and the shape up aqua gel for the first time and my hair looked great until I rinsed out the conditioner and applied the gel. My hair has almost no definition, and basically looks like a puff ball. I used the weightless air cream as my leave-in and I’m thinking that was my mistake. I’m going to try refreshing using the multi task conditioner as my leave in
I also used the Shape Up Aqua Gel and it made my curly hair go flat. I was very unhappy and rinsed it out and used the Hydro Style Flexi Jelly. I’m having some good luck with jelly’s and Kinky Curly Custards.
@@alicesings1971 I actually returned both the Shape Up Aqua gel and the In Shower Style Fixer I’ve just decided that Curlsmith gels are not for me. Kinky Curly curling custard works great for me
Yup. I wondered too. I’m not the one to do double work. 😂 However I will say that if using as a dc and leave in i may wanna use less on the dc stage as we tend to use more I think. Just a thought.

I do like the bond curl salve too. Yes it is trial and error trying figure out the best combo. I hope you get better results next time💕

It’s funny because my hair was straight for 3 weeks and I missed my curls. You are right! Maintaining straight hair is more difficult.
