This is a really cool video. My father; born 1957. Said he and his friends in the early sixties used to try to emulate his swing and defensive style. Such a historic sport. So beautiful. Thanks
The white Sox were one of the best teams in this era having a winning season in 16 of 20 seasons from 1950-1970. They could have won more World Series if the playoffs were expanded.
@@rafaelramirez1507 Ricky had 6, 468 putouts. Willie Mays had 7,000 the most ever. Ricky had 1,406 SB and 2, 295 runs. Little Looie was great but Ricky was one of the best players any position all-time.
I saw Looie play many times for the Orioles at Memorial Stadium. What a great ball player.

Surprised "Looie" picked Richardson at second base over his keystone partner Nellie Fox.
Aparicio lead the league in SB 9 times yet never once lead league in Runs. Ricky Henderson was infinitely better leadoff hitter.
Aparicio had a better glove on the field , regardless the position ( nine gold gloves ) 😉
Ricky scored more runs than anybody in the histroy of the game.
