We must point out the cowardice of wars now. A man 5km away from the frontline can kill a whole squad of soldiers with a drone, without ever even seeing a gun, while a city can be destroyed from the other side of the world in under 40mins by a guy who never left his home town. It is a scary concept, as we no longer meet the "enemy" we succumb to the propaganda more easily, kill more easily etc. This is the biggest change in war since arrows were invented.
War is politics, and politics is war, and while its not pleasant, it will forever be a fact of history. Those who dream of eradicating it tend to be utopians who take the 90's to 2010's period in the west for granted
