Makes my skin crawl just thinking of all the amazing moments, all the horrible creatures and all the dying that's about to come our way. These games never disappoint.
I hope the reviews come out soon. The later it comes out means they put an embargo on the reviews meaning they're not confident in their game most likely meaning it's mediocre

Elden Ring is sooooooo different from all the games released these past few years. It's a complete game with little to no bugs, and no microtransactions. That's how you do triple-A title. Game of the Year.

I think at this point when they’ve made over 31 games and 6 of the series that came from them (with two of their other hit games being sekiro and demon’s souls which aren’t expected to get a sequel) being extremely successful and widely loved as well as other games of theirs that have formed a cult following they have made enough money to the point where I think it looks like they can be able to produce AAA games and be considered a AAA developer. Especially after Elden ring. And anyway. They said “that’s how you do a AAA game” and not necessarily that fromsoftware was a AAA developer, like if they are saying that from has made Elden ring in such a good quality that triple a developers should follow suit

This is one of the very rare games that actually surpassed my expectations. Elden ring is an instant classic, it's been one year and I'm still obsessed with it.

I never played a souls game before. I didn’t think it was for me. I wasn’t even hyped. Now I’ve put 200 hours into it and I haven’t even started new game plus yet. It’s amazing how much there is to do. It’s a game I’ll compare other open world games to forever. I’m so glad I decided to buy it.
Same exact story here lol first FromSoftware game for me. 150 hours on my first playthrough still
Now go back and play the others. Some of the older games are as good if not better. Especially Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3, and Bloodborne.
Try Bloodborne. You won't regret it. It's not open world but it is a finely tuned, fun experience. You won't regret it. There's a reason people love to say Bloodborne is the best fromsoftware game in their eyes.

I come back to this trailer every once in a while to just listen to the music/dialogue. The part at 1:00 and 1:40 give me chills so hard
I'm 49 and I don't classify myself as a 'gamer'. I just dabble on my son's Xbox series X. In general I lose interest in games after about 20 hrs play as I feel many games become repetitive. Big titles such as Halo, Gears etc. I've tried and eventually stop before getting anywhere near the end as I lead a busy life and I feel I have better things to do with my time.
To put into context how good this game is, I have just dedicated over 300 hours of my life from the last year and have just completed the game. It is so immersive and absorbing. And so difficult it keeps bringing you back again and again and again. I loved every minute of it. Having completed it I now don't know what to do....Do I play NG+? Start again with a different build character? Or find a new game? If the latter - what should I go for?
I'm on NG+39 keep moving forward without stopping the limit is 1000!!!!
DLC is coming, fromsoftware has epic bosses for the dlc

@@Ron_Burgundy1009I’m exactly the same - grew up playing PlayStation’s n always loved them - open worlds are my go to - but last 12 months or so I can’t seem to get past a certain point- hence why I’ve downloaded elder rings as I’ve never played it n praying it brings that kid out of me again.
Life’s too busy so little things like this help me escape it!
I think about all the souls fans that aren’t with us anymore and it makes me sad that they’ll miss out on this. I’ll be playing it for them. ❤️

Fromsoft games have always been amazing at world building and lore. The world of the dark souls trilogy is simply incredible and forever memorable. I’m not shocked at all that Eldin Ring is looking to have an equally amazing world and lore, if not even greater.

@@maxx8541 Fun fact: When From asked Martin to create the background, they created a special group to optimize and adapt the story incase Martin's story cannot be fully used by a video game, and guess what? The special group didn't do anything at last because Martin was such a genius, they don't have to adapt anything at all!

@Michael Does Life I mean of course it's a copy Dark souls it's literally made by the same people. As for the open world, if you've seen any of the videos and reviews floating around you would know that it's made really well and actually has substance. This game also a great blend of mechanics from most of the souls games to freshen up the combat.

After finally playing the game when it came out on Friday, I can confirm, the game lived up to the hype, and went even beyond that.

FromSoftware is special, nobody makes games coming close to theirs visually & artistically. Their imagination and vision is truly one of a kind! Can’t wait. 👌🏼
EDIT: Plus they’re also one of the few developers that release a finished product these days.

I am so incredibly excited, I'm picking up my buddy the 24th and we're spending the whole weekend starting 12 am on the 25th playing Elden Ring.

Miyazaki never disappointed fans. I never doubted the game was coming. Unlike Cd Project Red, Miyazaki and From Software know their limit. (For example, Miyazaki said that he chose not to attempt large cities in the game, because his team didn't have the experience and other features would suffer. Every Soul game builds on the previous one by keeping what worked and adding small increments. It's their recipe for success. Going open world is probably the biggest risk they ever took, but for them it amounted to keep doing what they do best, just more of it. (Didn't intend to bash Cd Project Red by the way, I admire people and companies that take big risks, but with Cyberpunk it just didn't work out).

When i saw this at 1:22 for me was an amazing editing that From software made, instantly this trailer sold me. I never have been disappointed when i have bought games from this company.
Haven't had so much fun and so HOOKED playing a game since childhood. This game recaptures the feeling of what it means to play a game. Loving it so much.
Watching this after beating it twice. Its pretty crazy to see all of the things they gave away, with so much late game stuff and an ending in the trailer is pretty crazy.

I have not been so excited for a game since the announcement of the original Mass Effect. I love this series! Only recently played DS1 and immediately pre-ordered this game. I'm so ready to lose myself in this vast open world. Ready to die a lot. Ready to face any challenge.

It's too late now, but Bloodborne and DS3 are seriously worth your time, especially Bloodborne, which is FROM's best game imo (well, until tomorrow most likely haha.)
I think Elden Ring could be on the same level as DS1 and Bloodborne.
Sekiro and Demon Souls are great, too, but I think DS2 and especially DS3 are the worst games by From Software.
You should definitely Play Bloodborne If you have a PS4 / PS5. That game alone is worth getting a PS.
Having completed dark souls 2 , 3 and bloodborne I'm more than ready for this. And to myself when I eventually come back to this comment in a couple of years I hope this game was as amazing as we had expected. May the flame guide thee!

This game makes me feel different. I love going back to watch this trailer. Makes me feel the way I first did when I saw it. it truly is one of the best ever made. Everything is beyond genius the character design, combat, lore, world, weapons. This game will stick with me till the day I die

This game just delivered more than our expectations. Fromsoft just keeps improving and these games are the only thing that makes me want to keep playing non-stop.

Is there a name for the rendition of Radagon’s theme used in this trailer? The strings in the background of the horns aren’t used for the regular version that plays during the menu or the boss fight. The one in this trailer is so much more grand just from that small change.
To this very day, this trailer's epic rendition of Radagon's theme lives rent-free in my head.

I am so incredibly hyped for this. I only started playing From Software's games about 2 years back, so this will be their first title I can play along with the community. Discovering the lore, the secrets, all the little things in this game along with you all is going to be incredible.

Earned the platinum trophy on this one a few weeks ago and watching this trailer now is like looking back and reminiscing everything I lived on that 135 hours wonderful first run! Will forever be remembered!
