    It's good fun watching the 'lesser' fisherman catch the big ones. He know who is best, doesn't he Luke!

    Luke is like a panther when he fishes. He has such a practiced economy of motion. While doing multiple things and talking to us. Joe and Luke do such a great job of bringing us information and entertainment!

      Good eye! I (Luke) had no idea it was on me until a few minutes after we stopped the video when it decided to crawl up the sleeve of the shirt.

    Personally, my favorite part was watching Joe spend 5+ minutes untangling his line and re-tying a new lure while on top of the school… been there :)

    I grew up up Florida Gulf Coast (Sarasota), my first canoe at 5, first little 10 h.p Evinrude on 10' skiff at 10 years old. Pretty well knew every nook and cranny of the bays and brackish waters there. Had many spots like this, no one else fished, some could only get into by Canoe. Super fun! This was 1960's and '70's so a little less competition for secret spots back then!

    I think I hear Wyatt chuckling Joe

    Luke has his drag set well. You can hear it slipping as designed, when a heavy fish runs. Never heard any drag function/slip on the other rod, even with the bull red.

    I literally stopped the video @ 20 minutes to go and purchase a spray bottle applicator! So necessary.
    Of course I grabbed a couple of packs of shady's while I was there... 🤣

    Dude's got a crab on his back and didn't even realize it at the end of the video

      Haha! That crab sure was stealthy... or Luke was just so concentrated on looking for reds that he didn't feel the hitchhiker on his shirt.

    Why don't you keep any fish?????

    • @Saltstrong
      @Saltstrong  ปีที่แล้ว

      We sometimes do. We encourage safe fish handling practices and catch and release so those fish go out and create more fish so future generations can hit the water and catch as many fish as we did!!
