You should play lumberloon + drags or elixir golem at mid ladder and at 7k+ switch back to hog

I originally made my own version of 2.6, but then I started seeing the meta decks and all of that and I decided I wanted to go with 2.8 because Valkyrie and hog have been one of my favorites cards, but then like 3 months ago I started playing with pekka bridge spam because I was struggling on defending all the mk and ebarbs players, and I got to 6.3k with these two decks, and I’m watching videos on how to get better with both decks, but I feel more comfortable with 2.8 because I prefer cycle decks
Pekka bridge spam is really hard to master, I wouldn't go too hard in playing it.
Not saying hog 2.8 is much easier, but you only have to learn interactions for defense, and offense is straightforward. With pekka you have to build very specific pushes on offense for most matchups or else you literally can't break through.
Also hog is better in general anyways
I dont know if it is. I did 20 wins 2 times with pekka bridge spam even tho k prefer cycle decks. Cause they more.fun

You actually ARE the best commentator. Not in terms of play by play or really exciting commentary, but you are by far the best at explaining strategy in real time. Your ability to describe your thought process is the best learning tool and insight out there.

I’m playing a mega knight, goblin cage, baby dragon, e wiz, guards, fireball, log, guards and bats custom made deck, I’m in mid challenger 2. Me and my friends think it’s pretty good but we don’t know. Keep up the good content!
I've been playing 3.0 Xbow since 2020! Sorry guys, don't hate me :), I also play hog cycle but I'm not to good with it.
I am currently at 6.5k with hog eq.
Main struggle is against ballon even after nerf like they just arrow my firecracker and ballon is tanked by miner or lava and wreck me
I have start playing this hog eq 2 month ago works fine for me as my best season is with this deck 6.7k highest

My best deck is the hog rider bomb tower deck with queen, but I switched out knight for valk even though I have both maxed.
I’m not the best but I’m at 6600 with it but I only play like 1 ladder game a day so I don’t push too much lol.
My favorite deck is: gob drill, skeleton king, scarmy, fire cracker,tesla , fire spirit, log , fire ball

I was a MK main back in arena 13 until ladder, then I tried 2.6 hog because of Oyassu but I find more comfortable with a Hog-EQ modified (minipekka & cannon ⇆ Valk & Tesla) watching your playstyle, playing tesla may be better against balloon decks but still on lvl 10 compared to my lvl 12 cannon, also minipekka lvl 11 to valk lvl 10.
Because of you I can actually pull some wins against pretty midladder decks as MK with pekka or/with Egiant or/with Ebarbs or/with sparky

I'm using my Pekka bridge spam deck (with magic Archer and poison) despite fireball being in meta now i stick to classic poison one. ( because I cant afford leveling up fireball too when I spent everything on poison)
But I love to use your firecracker deck in challenges. It's super effective thankyou

I'm a beatdown player, so my best decks are lumberloon freeze, lavaloon and golem. but since the nightwitch nerf and the loon nerf, i'm switching to control decks like splashyard and hog eq. I'm at 6.7k trophies rn and my highest finish is 6.9k

6.5k with 3.0 xbow. it's really hard because all the players in this range run arrows and eq.still trying to make xbow work but playing hog eq as my 2nd deck as it is my 2nd most comfortable deck

Vs giant gy or decks like that you wanna passively defend and then counter push even tho cycle decks don't usually do that

Recently I been playing a lot of Splashyard just because on ladder it’s not super level dependent and I also feel it would help for me to improve at the game because I’ve only started playing this game a month ago 😭
I don't use hog EQ because I can't upgrade the cards but I do use hog
I use the troll deck where you take x-bow out for RG but instead of RG or x-bow, I use hog.

You can pretty much can play any deck. Nice commentary. I really like to watch and listen reasoning behind it.
i main xbow but wanna get good at eq too so i cant switch around cause the decks are basically the same, with only spirit, firecracker, eq and hog changed but only main difference is hog for xbow. i usually stay around the 6k area cant seem to break out. win some, then drop to c3 then get back to master 1.
I play hog eq, have it maxed and I'm at 6.4k-6.6k trophy range

I started to play Hog E.Q but I’m still in silver II and I was tired of playing against big card so I replaced Tesla with Inferno and it worked pretty well

Which version? I would say try to be very cautious instead of the normal aggressive approach of most miner wb decks. You want to only use calculated aggression

I play mostly hogeq/piggiesAQ, I have all the cycle cards maxed but I’m legit hard stuck 6500 and for some reason lose to pekka bridge spam still🤦🏻♂️im trying tho😂😂😂
My second year playing 2.8 loon and lumberjack cycle. The deck consists of, ice spirit, lumberjack, balloon, ice golem, musket, snowball, barb barrel and bats. My highest rating was around 6k
I am playing royal hog
5.6k, playing custom Pekka deck (Pekka, E wiz, baby dragon, Fireball, Zap, goblin gang, Bats and Hog Rider) and I never really played Hog eq deck because I mainly upgraded cards from my deck, as much as I hate Hog Rider cycle decks (playing against them) got to admit that the defense is clean
Love your content, for your question- my high level/kt12/ 6.5k trophies so highish ladder account I play hog eq or off meta log bate, for my lower level account/kt8/4k trophies I play mk hog dp with cycle cards and 2 small spells, works pretty good for mid ldr
I dont play Hog EQ in Ladder, because it takes too much skill, I prefer playing MK, Goblin Barrel, Bandit, Wallbreakers, Icespirit, Zapp, Fireball, Queen. But it is really sattisfying to see you playing, because you are sooooo good. You will finish No.1 one day! Can you do a Video where you play Decks of your subscribers next season? Maybe start with mine and tell me your opinion? :D
