I remember the day this dropped, total game changer, nothing like it anywhere, way ahead of his time, followed every tune, wasn't sure about a few but after a good few listens you start to realise the genius in cas and his music, proper trailblazer, nobody can replicate or even come close to his unique style,what a fucking legend, anyone know who the guy is looking out from the tower block ?
Quick story about how I discovered Cas.
I was at a hip hop festival in 2016 and this fella with a mask comes onto the main stage with two gimps on leads. The crowd was going mental. Every track went off. Even though I didn’t get it at the time I could tell from the reaction of the crowd that this was something different ,creating more of a buzz than all the other artist on the line up. A mad energetic cult following. A few days later I heard 23 the mixtape and got what the fuss was about. Just booked tickets for the show a few days after the album drops. I suspect not that many chances to see him live with a small crowd after this drops. Geezas about to be the front runner.
