Would this machine be sufficient for some heavyweight upholstery fabrics? My old Toyota 2260 has been a really good machine and I have used it in my full time upholstery work for the last 9 years. It has a metal bobbin case because anything with a plastic bobbin case wont work for upholstery. Unfortunately I just dont have the space for an industrial sewing machine.

For many years, I was involved on the upholstery of various types of furniture, I stopped doing it a long time ago, but I am very well versed in this work.
the Toyota 2260 is nothing special, it may have met your needs, the sewing machine I suggested is no longer produced, it is relatively old, I suppose in the UK they can be to find well-preserved examples, the price is not low, but the machine is superb and, in my opinion, the best forever.

Vérifiez d'abord la tension du fil inférieur, puis vérifiez si le tendeur du fil supérieur fonctionne, passez le fil à travers le tendeur, augmentez la tension et tirez le fil avec l'autre main, lorsque vous déterminez que le tendeur de le fil supérieur travaille, puis réduisez-le presque jusqu'au bout et augmentez progressivement la tension jusqu'à obtenir une couture de qualité.

Estoy pensando en comprar este modelo pero encuentro muy pocas referencias de mi país y en general, así que no sé qué esperar o si vale la pena.
La quiero para un microemprendimiento (si a futuro crece ya voy a poder comprar una industrial o semi) de bolsos y si bien el nombre de la máquina me da a entender que va a poder con gabardinas y lonas, no encuentro muchas opiniones.
Algo que sí escuché es que es muy ruidosa y que al ser tan liviana se mueve mucho. Esto es así? Se vuelve un impedimento para trabajar?
Y cuántas horas de trabajo tolera?

Sinceramente, no tengo experiencia con esta máquina de coser, pero puedo decir opinión, debes saber que esta es una máquina de coser para el hogar, cualquier uso industrial puede ser un problema, puedes coser diferentes materiales naturales, coser cuero artificial o natural tienes que tomar con gran reserva, puede pero muy poco.
Si quieres coser bolsas, te recomiendo una máquina de coser industrial de triple avance.
