Beautiful stretch of highway! But the rules of that road have me thinking about that Sammy Hagar song that I suddenly forgot the name of... Hold on, it'll come to me eventually...
Yes, this stretch was limited to 80-90 km/h. There are no 120 km/h roads in Norway, the highest speed limit is 110 km/h and was introduced in 2014. Some stretches of E6 further south of Oslo were increased to 110 km/h recently.
European Roads Yes you are right - 110 km/h. I confused up with Sweden. It's there 120 km/h. I heard about the two sections on both side of the bay. And one of them is E6 from Oslo till Svinesund bridge. Looks like I was wrong.
This video is from 2015, the year before in 2014 the Norwegian govt stated that motorways were to have yellow painted centre lines, matching the two lane roads. But this early on they had only gone to repainting some of the white to yellow, so there wuld be patches like this. By now though, the entire motorway network is repainted.
Those signs aren't used for speed cameras in Norway (But they are in Sweden, I know quit deceptive) I have seen them posted to mark regular road surveillance cameras. The sign for speed cameras look like a frontal shot of a DSLR camera.
What a fantastic drive. Lush and green..some fun grades and tunnels on this one. Hope to get to drive this someday in the not-too-distant future.
If you like that, see the Hardangervidda video as well :) th-cam.com/video/RwO7RLWJuPU/w-d-xo.html

Nice ride and nice music!
I have heard that in this section of motorway speed limit was increased to 120 km/h, but all signs that I saw were 90 km/h

European Roads song name?
+European Roads does anybody drives there so slow?
+Peter Shaman Few people seemed to drive more than 120 km/h (when it was limited at 100). The fines are quite high in Norway.
Looks just like Wisconsin in the US
nice views
What is the reason why the yellow and white lines (on the left side of the carriageway) are used interchangeably and inconsistently?

2:14 Where's a speed camera? I can't see. This sign looks like in Sweden.
