    Marcella Hayes, LPC is a Certified Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapist with the Children's Bereavement Center in San Antonio, Texas. In this 5-part video series, Mrs. Hayes, joined by Kim Fox, Student Counselor Intern, provides an interactive discussion on the process of utilizing components of Trauma-Focused CBT to adapt to Childhood Traumatic Grief (CTG) and create a Traumatic Grief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TG-CBT) treatment plan.

    I was 5 when my father passed on a tragic accident at his job. I am now 38 and going through some very intense grief from losing my dad. I did not get proper treatment and my older brother turned abusive and all focus was on him. My mom never remarried or dated. I have had many many struggles.

    Would my father getting ran over and killed by a paving truck he considered traumatic death?
