Great review, Thankyou for sharing. As you say very nice classic looking car. My ex sister in law had a 2002 mgzs with the 1.8 K series, bought @ 8,000 miles & ran for 5 years till it had 44,000 on the clock, never ever serviced in that time & no trouble whatsoever, my brother serviced it & the head gasket went within afew weeks.
@@beardsandbangers the oil or grease mess smelt of sewerage & the oil filter was red rust, the head gasket was replaced & that car is still running, testament to the K series
@@davidvestey6014 That was my point, tough engine to run so long with no servicing, oil was disgusting & incredible it is still running after a new head gasket
The MK1 looks fantastic in that colour. I had a Connoisseur SE MK1 and then a Classic SE and I didn't feel that the lower spec was any less opulent. All the nice 75 styling touches were still there and I found the cloth to be more comfortable than the leather. Very good price being asked considering the lovely condition.
Great Video. I you still fancy driving a ZT saloon 1.8T (in Le Mans Green. You saw it at MG's in the park) , you're welcome to try mine anytime. It's also tuned up to around 200 BHP.
Great review I have an MG ZT 120 which I got after 2X 75 CDTs must say the 1.8 non turbo isn't the fastest thing going but I find it quick enough for Shropshire's roads and the handling is epic
Only this country could sell out its workforce along doing all possible to make sure we would never have a British car industry. At one time Britain led the world Now we can't run a p%ss up in a brewery So sad Great car by the way and good video
Thacher was the one who sold them down the river. Would not renew Michael Edwardes contract and off loaded the government stake at the earliest opportunity. Michael Edwardes was doing a good job but never got the backing from the Conservative government. If he had his contract renewed things could be way different today.
I took my Rover 75 Celeste to the washing service and even gave a hand waxing on top! It looks so lovely and in mint condition!!! I always look back at the car, when I am leaving to my home. Decent quality, not expensive in keeping it. Daily driver. Style and class. 20 year old and leather, climate control, cruise control, Android Radio Unit, heated seats. What do you want more?
@@beardsandbangers Danke mein Freund. Es ist einfach ein englischer Klassiker. Alle hier fahren Mercedes, BMW und Audi. Alle sehen gleich aus. Langweilig. Long live Rover 75!
What a cracking colour! Nice bit of history as well. Also, liked the cameo appearance. Lol
Do you reckon that was one of his mates from the Fiat Panda Swingers Association 🎉

He thought I was the TH-camr who does Christmas tree videos. Is that anybody?
Shhhhh! We are in fierce battle with the Audi lot at the moment so things have to stay hush-hush!
@@beardsandbangers lol. Even if you were, why would you do that in march?!
Good video 🚗🚙🚘👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cheers Jimmy!
I have just bought this car owned it for a week !!
What a great car you have bought!! Thanks for subbing as well, my channel has loads of Rover and MG stuff on.

That is a true quirk of fate! I believe this one has been done. This was a great K series. Very quiet with no top end clatter!

You don’t think the failure might have been linked with missing 3 services then?

Absolutely delicious car! Velour seats are Møre comfortable than the leather ones I think!
It is isn't it! Yes velour are nice this time of year as well! Nothing worse than a cold leather seat in the winter!

It is a good price. Amazed my mate hasn't sold it!
Beautiful colour!
I think so too!
What a damn fine video. Love the body warmer. That particular 75 is really lovely looking in that red.
You have a new subscriber 👍
Thanks for subbing, it means a lot. It is a beautiful car and my mate sold it a couple of weeks ago!

I think all 75's put the power down well, and as you say, a car that handles whilst being comfortable.
Perhaps wear a suit for Rover test drives.
I'm liking this idea!
Good review 😊
Thank you! I appreciate it
Don't forget the 2.0 CDT diesel version like mine.
Forgive me, I have been dieselist! I will be reviewing one soon as well!
Brilliant
Thanks a lot!

Celeste? Is that the name or the colour? They are such great cars!
@@beardsandbangers No, my friend. It was a premium line. It is a Diesel. Black leather seats. A gem here in Germany.
