Episode 49 - Draft regulations for legacy pension conversions

In this edition of feeling smarter weekly video series, Aaron Dunn and Tim Miller discuss the release of the draft regulations issued by Treasury for the ability to convert legacy pensions - i.e. market linked pensions, lifetime and life expectancy pensions to modern day products, back to accumulation or alternatively to remove from the superannuation system. These regulations once the become law, will provide a number of SMSF members to contemplate simplifying their existing arrangements, and in this video Aaron and Tim discuss the timeframe of the relief, and other important considerations.
