The trains are designed to look and feel like the iconic light cycles from the Tron movies, and riders are seated in a forward-facing position as they zoom through the neon-lit track. New POV and off-ride footage from the ADA vehicle. We can tell you that it's one of the best attractions in the park!
Review: The attraction starts off with a high-speed launch, propelling riders through a series of twisting turns and inversions. The ride's unique layout includes sections where the coaster tracks split apart, creating the illusion of riders racing alongside each other. The coaster's special effects and lighting add to the immersive experience, making riders feel like they are truly inside the world of Tron. It's a great addition to the park! The roller coaster incorporates cutting-edge ride systems and special effects to create a one-of-a-kind experience.

The fact that they choose to make the carts actual motercycles was absolutely genious. They could've easely make it a normal cart and let the visuals and sounds of the ride do its thing but they choose to go the extra mile. Marvolous!!!
Rode today and disagree. It’s so visually stunning that I would have preferred sitting upright in a comfy seat. Hard to take it all in hunched over like that

Well they already had the model out. They just changed it. A ride in Germany has moterbikes as the trains.
I mean it is called Tron lightcycle run lol why wouldn’t they make them lightcycles

I rode it last night. It was sick. Smooth as could be and the visuals along with the sound is amazing. I also liked the intro to the ride with the screen fading out to a window showing the launch. I enjoyed the hell out of it.
How did you get it at night? Did you get lucky? What's the strategy?
@@thecbommer41 I waited for the 1pm virtual signup and literally clicked it as it hit 1pm. I was assigned group 121 which happened to get called around 8. Then you will wait in line for an hour.
@@Bhampton444413 so lucky. I'm going in 2024 and I dont know if I'll get that lucky and get a late group. Or if it will still be an hour wait

I didn't expect that launch to be intense, probably one of the most intense launches. I think the way you are positioned is a big factor as opposed to you just sitting. You feel like you're gonna fly out lol!
This roller coaster is on my bucket list forever.
The digitizing scenery throughout the attraction looks extremely convincing! It really does look like you would be swiftly transported through cyberspace! This is one of the most immersive settings I’ve ever seen in an amusement ride!

What you actually experience during the ride is incredibly awesome - but from the moment you launch after the countdown until the ride is over, it’s less than a minute long. Figured it’d be a little bit longer than that with all the hype.

Last time I went to Magic Kingdom I went on this and it was absolutely amazing my number one Disney ride out of all the parks

I want north American parks to embrace more live action Disney. The theme and rides overseas of the classic to live action Disney is top tier.
Cosmic rewind wipes this out of the water by A LOT . Backwards launch is far better too not knowing when it’s over .

Wait me too. I thought I was the only one. My neck was killing me later on the day. I heard keep your neck up. I tried but the hills and turns kept forcing my head/neck down. I’m fairly athletic too.

I took the ride last week with virtual line. It was the most amazing ride I ever had. I tried Yukon Striker in Toronto many times. While the latter is awesome, Tron is simply from a new generation of roller coasters. This thing belongs to 2060, not 2023!

I rode the tron in shanghai Disney. I heard they replicated this ride in Disney Orlando. But looking at this video, I think the one in shanghai us a little better with the visual

@@CreemTheGoober ofc not... But they are like trim brakes (they break so hard, the train stalls so hard!) :) nobody likes them.. Every block section the train almost comes to a stand still....
You don’t even notice it on the ride, I didn’t anyway, there is so much to look at and it’s very smooth.

Does it make you feel claustrophobic at all? I don’t know why but when I rode the Aviator Flight of Passage it felt super weird and made me uncomfortable.
The ride vehicles look incredibly uncomfortable.....
There is a car at the back of some trains if you have discomfort with the normal motorcycle cars

Son and I did not like the bike. He got cramp and I got bad neck pain. Modified car was better.

honestly i rode it for the first time yesterday and i thought it was pretty comfortable. i was worried about the rumors of the seats hurting but i found no problem with them.

Great attempt from Disney to complete with universal but still won’t cut it. Universal just does a much better job with there roller coasters.

Start standing in line at about 11am
So if you buy lighting lane could be night or day or you can get virtual but it will still be random lighting lane costs money I believe 20$ I might be wrong .
1) stay at a Disney resort 2) when the individual lightning lane sales go off at 7am, choose your time quickly before they get booked up 3) enjoy
You have to be lucky because right now, it's only done by random via the virtual queue.
The reservation system starts at 7 a.m., and your group is randomly chosen.
After the first wave of reservations end, usually within the hour and give time slots for groups that range as early as park opening to around 4pm. The second wave starts at 12 p.m., and they give time slots from 4 pm. to closing.
You can pay $20 to bypass your group's wait time, but you can't select a later time.
In my case for instance I had to go on the second wave of reservations and they gave me a time to queue from 4 pm to 5:55 pm

Honestly it’s really not as bad as it looks. I was in a really bad car accident a decade ago so I have to be careful with what I go on but it was perfectly tame and a lot of fun. If you ever do go back, I totally recommend just going for it. You won’t regret it.
