Travelling by the train to Chiang Mai is definitely the way to do it! And it was surprisingly comfy and I got a good nights sleep (once I new I wouldn’t fall out of the bunk 😂) I would recommend it to anyone and it’s a really good price! 🥰

You will love Chiangmai. It is amazing place with it own charm. 🙂 If you have time, try to visit Mae Kam Pong, Chiang Dao, and if you could wake up early try a fusion Khao Soi at Khao-So-i (I'll be more expensive than usual Khao soi but worth a try, make sure go there early. the place open at 11)

Hi 👋 they didn't serve food on this train but on a way back from Chiang mai to Bangkok there was food so I don't know why it wasn't any food on this one. There was no coffee also on this one but on a way back to Bangkok there was coffee available. Maybe because this train was a bit newer then the one we caught back down to Bangkok... really don't know
Nope couldn’t do a sleeper train 😅 has to be 4* or 5* cabin with my own throne and shower we couldn’t share with other people 🤢 lol Haha Diggy hearing you swear is ace 😂. We’ve heard Chang Mai is excellent and have some of the best elephant sanctuaries around too. Very brave for doing that train though 🫣.
