Yeah. Sad. A big reason he recorded his home life a lot because he wanted to watch and enjoy the memories when they were gone. Little did he know were all doing that now. Crazy how weird time is if you really think about it. A young man living life as we would today, not much has changed.

I do know that RuPaul did take care of Blackout after Nelson's passing. There really isn't much info about what happened directly after the death. I'm thinking the family took care of the burial and all because all of the family members in the family plot have the same exact gravestone.

This is part of the reason - besides the thought of being in the ground in a box - I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered into nature. So depressing to see this. Like no-one cares or even comes to visit. My family has two large plots, and I don't think anyone has been out there to take care of it in a decade. I don't live close enough to go. Such a waste.

Sadly no I haven't figured out where he grew up but I'm still trying. I did find the doctor's office where he had the mole removed. I've narrowed down a couple of places where his aunt's house might have been. I need to make another trip back soon. Work has just been hectic.

@@chrism.2711 I've tracked down the house that Nelson was born in, although i'm not sure if he grew up in the house. If you go to the video 'A Guided Tour of Nelson Sullivan's Hometown in 1985 with Aunt Nancy', It's at time stamp 4:59. The address is 417 North Matson street (third house down from the school), the one with the four columns and twin triangle roof. The house next to Nelsons is a new build so it doesn't match up to Nelsons video, but the rest of the houses do on the street and it leads to the school that Nelson went to, which also matches up to the video, although it seems to be mostly demolished now. Hopefully another piece of the puzzle for you.

@@chrism.2711 Nelson Sullivan is such a legend. It shocks me that RuPaul hasn’t used his fantastic platform to talk about the world’s first TH-camr Nelson Sullivan. Nelson was truly before his time. He documented the lives of people who would otherwise have disappeared completely and documented New York City before it became the expensive tourist trap that it is today.

well folks its obvious Nelson taught us that we are walking energy, how we live and interact with eachother is the most powerful vibration. Not only is it Inner beauty meets outer synchronicity but also just loving nature and this Earth Experience is so key. Look at how alive the nature around his grave interacts with his soul signature radiating from everywhere this man has been
