As a main Demo Lock, i totally agree with you. i can squeeze more damage on M+ than with Affliction, but that's just me. I guess i play it better because i like it way better. However, it is true that you can mess up your rotation sometimes due to movement and dodging stuff. They do insane damage especially on Ovi'nax fight for example. Destruction has always been my kryptonite, lots of buttons to press and just to hard to manage...

I run a mythic as ret , tank pulls half the instance and barely takes damage, I run it as prot, and I’m constantly melting and popping all my defensives. I was thinking my healers were not doing their job. Checked log, realized they were, so then I started to think I was a shit player…
Plate spinner spec right now isn't it? I've not played mine past 70 yet but that's what I've heard, if you're good at that you'll do well but you'll struggle if you aren't.

And you guys are why the m+ scene is ruined with those shit takes on tier list. You have pushed class abilities so hard where a individual player who is a 90+ % parser with a 2k rating will never get an inv to a key only the ones on your meta.
Duuuuude right, I get done working a 12 hr shift and wanna run a M+1-5. 605 Unh/DK. I prioritize interrupts and mechanikx and get declinced for an hour+
resto druid needs a full, entire rework. their spells, spec tree and healing profile contradict each other. Their hero talents need an overhaul as well due to the same issue and wild stalker literally having useless nodes (this is a problem for multiple classes/specs/hero trees. it's quite sad how they thought this stuff was good/complete). the 'updates' for the next patch are literally going to do nothing. I can't even understand what their thought process is with the incoming changes. The problem is the design of the incoming damage. healers need to pop off immediately because incoming damage is so high. This is literally impossible to even partially sustain as a resto druid. Throughout the game they need to drop incoming damage by 30-40% and healing by 50-60%. Currently almost all HoT healing basically just a gateway to empowered chunk healing (even for druid since regrowth spam is 30-40% of your healing in all content). the hots themselves do extremely little/are impactful.
@@TheComebackKids Thank you. the bottom half of it, about dropping damage and healing, is to make chunk/insta healing no longer a requirement and will allow half of the healing spells in the game (hots) mean something again. Also, if someone is low hp it's real danger because it'll take 3-5 spells to get them to full rather than 1-2. also, allowing resto druids mastery to work fully. but again. this isn't the case so the whole spec needs a rework since literally everything other than regrowth spamming after ramp is trumped by the other healers.
hit tyrant with 3 seconds left on charhound. if you know a mech is coming to make you move do it sub 5 seconds. have 10 or 15 imps rdy for tyrant depending if ur running that talent. hand of guldan at 3 soul shards, if running doom switch targets each time you demonbolt, use imp tracker weak aura for good implosion use. that's the entire class lmao. use diabolist procs as they come, but don't cap on soul shards. its ridiculously simple, only frost mage is easier imo
The current best tanks overall for delves/raid/m+ would be BDK & Prot Warrior. Blood has by far the strongest uncapped AoE & self-healing and the most diverse set of cooldowns for practically any situation. Two group magic absorbs, battle rez, 4 interrupts + 1 AoE interrupt and two movement skills that counter slows and snares. Not to mention the wide variety of short defensive cooldowns for shielding, damage reduction and leech boost. Typically when I tank a lower to mid key as Blood, I tell the healer to focus on the group and not even look at my health bar because of how much passive and active healing I have lol. You have to look a little deeper at what’s carrying Blood right now and it’s the Deathbringer tree that has by far the most value offensively and defensively of any hero class in the game. Incredible magic mitigation from multiple sources, which is what’s most common in M+ as most auto-attack damage from trash packs can be healed through if you learn how to de-sync attacks from large packs. For M+ DPS, overall damage is what matters the most and currently nothing comes close to Ret Paladin and Frost DK on overall. Ret is being carried by Herald of the Sun but Frost is a bit of an outlier. In high keys, to squeeze the most juice out of Frost DK, you need a tank that is pulling big around your Breath of Sindragosa window. This is not viable in pugs or lower keys but we are seeing FDKs in organized keys pulling 1.8-2.1m on overall. Another sleeper is Unholy DK. Got hard slept on early when the content ceiling was low but as keys get higher and pulls get bigger, Unholy has the highest uncapped cleave in the game and can fully sustain without relying on cooldowns due to the power of Virulent Plague and being able to do your entire damage profile out of melee range.
TLDR; Ret Paladin is the easiest spec for the most overall m+ damage. It’s a 3-4 button class outside of toolkit. For a new tank, I would personally recommend Prot Warrior because it’s fun and super easy to pickup. I personally think Blood is stronger as it has more tools but it’s very difficult to play.
Prot Ply needs a buff, decided to main it for this expac and gotdamn am I regretting it 😭 I’m 610 Ilvl and legit cannot survive the Heroic queen fight. I know im not playing to 100% perfection but I also know im not playing that bad. Pls blizz, say fuck ret for a bit and buff prot
bm aoe is by like 40% worse than the second worst spec, thats pretty bad, mm is just an average spec, cant compair with retri etc, i would say the hunter class in general is abandoned by devs

Not trying to be rude, but destro destroys demo in ST And fire mage is now one of the best dps in the game in higher tier content due to Flamestrike destroying mobs and item scaling with them is crazy

I'm slowly coming back to wow, I've got 10 toons all at 38-45 except for my druid which I'm levelling and she's at 62 and I sadly main her as a resto druid since wrath, but I haven't played hard since dropping off at mists and then back in and out since then. Trying to come back now and hearing resto druids are underperforming breaks my heart as it feels like I can't say there was ever a time they were good, or maybe I missed it :(
Not sure, if upcoming Prot Paladin "buff" will be game changer. There is more problem then increase 10% armor. But I still playing that, going 10 M+ as prot pala but I feel like a DK when my HP jumping from up to low....but I dont have healing as DK and healer is little bit nervous. :D
Sad thing is that its not even a buff the 10% armor,its just compensation for losing seal of order and the 10% armor and 10% cd it gives.That's why the are giving 10% armor and reducing some ability cd's
sorry but you are doing demo wrong. in low keys and low raid tiers, demo is not performing well because demo need some ramp up and things are dying too fast. But in high m+ and high raid tiers, the demo starts shining in every cleave and aoe scenario. With diabolist you are doing insane numbers, when the summoning train is running. Demo is so much more versatile then affli or destro. Destro and Affli debends on their cds... big numbers are coming all 2 minutes, but with demo you gain all 10-20 sec (depends on how much you can cast) a big dmg amp. Any of the 3 demons you spawn does good cleave dmg and empowers on of your ST / Cleave spells. For sure... Pure single target, demo is behind destro (aff is already falling behind sadly) but if you add any form of cleave to a fight, demo is rising. Please consider this in your next ranking! PS: if you understand how demo works, there is not much potential for failing! it's a very simple rotation! Also movement demo is shining! Destro and Aff can't do much while moving (for sure, destro has shadowburn and aff the instant proccs).

I just believe the results are hollow and in the hands of mortals and teams that don't know they should use PI on them that people would be misled. I think in all content MM and SV are just better spec and definitely more fun. I just don't like BM so I made a very biased statement.
It's not a lack of augmentation being played, it's a lack of evokers being played overall. Something like 3% of all level 80s are evokers and only ~4.5% of all mythic keys on raider IO have had an evoker of any spec. (2% pres, 2% Aug, .5% Dev) Undoubtedly a lot of cross over between specs and the same player. That makes it hard to accurately gage their real potential overall, especially for the dev because they have such a low sample size. With a good Dev maybe being forced into playing preservation or Aug so groups take them. Personally I haven't found a single Arcane mage or any shaman who can out DPS my Dev in M+5 or less. (Haven't even attempted a +6 yet, just been farming rune crests for gear) Once an unholy DK did in grim and once a ret pally did in city of echos. I would have placed Dev Evoker in the winners circle for sure, consider that there is a reason team liquid had 2 Dev evokers when they got world first. The same number as arcane mages, fury warriors, and Frost death knights. As for tanks, I've yet to see any tank out damage a death bringer blood DK overall. Their blood plague on trash alone is kinda broken. With single target damaging being a Colossus prot warrior by far.
Finally someone who gets it. I'm a dev evoker main and what you described is pretty similar to my results, even in +7 or +8s. It's seriously an underrated spec that can be quite hard to kill with some proactive defensive uses, and dev does a lot of damage following its recent buffs. It's a shame WoWhead still lists it as a bottom C tier spec even though my dev has been able to outdo frost, Marksman, ret, and arcane in many M+ dungeons.

Cool 4 of my 7, 80s are in the top list, wish they would improve how Druids and paladins trees work, not their fault they can fill every role, make them as balanced as Monks, simple.
I just wanna say that your videos has very high quality for, especially for someone who has less than a 100k subs. I have a hard time deciding what class to play. Been switching between frost dk, fury warrior and my ret pala, so I was glad to see both dk and warrior on the winners list but also surprised not to see ret pala in there, arn't they considered crazy strong?
I am currently maining bear, with a surprising alt of prot paladin. I thought paladin would feel super bad but it doesnt. Come the 22nd it will be even better.
Crazy that shadow priest didn’t make the list here. My prot pally is 1 ilvl higher than my spriest and feels much better even though I agree it’s also in the losing bucket atm.

Don’t forget this is based off raid and mythic plus, and they are 100% not “OP” they have incredibly low defensive toolkit and struggle if they are specced to far into aoe in Single target scenarios

@@TheComebackKids Hunter has some great defensive tools baseline. Turtle is essentially a worse Divine Shield and Exhilaration is a much better personal Lay on Hands. The CD of your full heal gets reduced as you spend focus too. Unlike Ret though, Hunter’s primary defense is having the best mobility while dealing damage and ability to quickly re-position without losing damage. What typically kept Hunter from being brought to high keys in the past was it’s like of passive mitigation (vs DK who has lots of it) and tools that help other players in your party (like Paladin)
I think what hunter and some classes struggle with is a good group buff which ppl looking for, thats why you always see shami with bl mage with buff and so on

Both Hunter specs ( MM & BM) are lacking balance of Single Target 🎯 and AOE . MM is lacking AOE and BM is lacking burst Single Target 🎯 . Fire Mage has both in which i like Fire Mages , but they do not do well in Delves , especially against the last boss that doesn't get cc.

Every spec is viable, tried solo delves as a healer? Did T8 solo on my warlock with 533 ilvl, easy but take some time. T3 on my 592ilvl rest shaman, barely able to do it. Sure i may not be the best geared or the best player by a long shot, but these are night/day. Healer is simply not a good or even decent choice for solo Delve or most of the solo content.

Three things that needs to happen in order for Hunters to be on top of the dps charts again. 1) Blizzards needs to quit nerfing Hunters. 2) Rework all the Hero Talents. 3) Other players need to quit crying about Hunters. I am sick and tired of them whinny about Hunters in which is why they always gets nerfed all the time .
I liked Dk back in the day more, cause you need so many macros atm to play it and breath timing is hard, pushed it to 605 ilvl but l stay on my lovely warlock y3 Also i think Arcane mage and fury warrior are gonna be worse with all the nerfs they hit them, frost mage will go up and hopefully some day fire mage
Breath is the strongest way to play Frost but it’s not the only way. Rider Oblit and Shattering Frost Deathbringer are more consistent in pugs or doing smaller pulls.
yeah sure but all the timing and macros you need to play it consistent are turning me up and sometimes without good gear you getting many times no procs which is a bit frustrating when i look up guides where the rotation works

Normally I frown on these types of videos. I hardly, if ever, watch them. Not even sure why I watched this one. But now I see why I never do. The problem with catering to these types of videos. Is that they are extremely opinionated of the OP. One video will swear that the logs will say this and that, but another OP's video will post that the logs say something else. Next thing you know you have people removing said losing class from raids or not inviting them to Mythic +'s. Then you have people trying to level the OP Class on the top list. Which can suck, cause we all know Blizz can nerf and buff a class into oblivion or into glory over night with a patch. Most of your videos you have made have been cool and ok; but this one is just opinionated and trash. But that is my opinion as well.

For a new tank, I would personally recommend Prot Warrior because it’s fun and super easy to pickup. I personally think Blood is stronger as it has more tools but it’s very difficult to play.

bm aoe is by like 40% worse than the second worst spec, thats pretty bad, mm is just an average spec, cant compair with retri etc, i would say the hunter class in general is abandoned by devs

@@jabronilicksalot2555 All i see are problems with the talents and with tuning that we have been warning blizzard about for weeks and small bad changes that do nothing but buy time for 10.0.5 to come and deliver something dissapointing, its clear as day whet they need to do, remove basilisk colar, run 2 sims ,one without to see the % contribution of the talent and bake it in to the spec then buff beast cleave and kill cleave until they do actual damage like it happend to all the other specs in the game and its fixed, but no lets try to nerf basilisk colar AFTER 2 MONTHS ??? there is nothing positive about this , only neglect so yea , a loser class, bad raid buff average dps contributor in both aoe and st but not the the point where they outvalue any damage provided by other classes like mage with arcane intellect monk dh etc. no raid utility like locks/evoker no aoe stop for m+ affix, weak to taking rot damage, mm has to call a pet to bl and its rotation sucks since bfa rework, survival is so ignored that it had to wear t3 for the whole s4, they never fixed it, we litteraly had no dev and if we have one now he has to be trolling, next patch is an eternity away and weekly resets pass with our state improoving but still being substandard, we need blizzard to understand this is an actual proble they need to fix not something they can ignore until 10 patches later when we forget it because they give us something else to wory about, i m sick of this class getting the sort end of the stick and people acting like its ok

I'm slowly coming back to wow, I've got 10 toons all at 38-45 except for my druid which I'm levelling and she's at 62 and I sadly main her as a resto druid since wrath, but I haven't played hard since dropping off at mists and then back in and out since then.
Trying to come back now and hearing resto druids are underperforming breaks my heart as it feels like I can't say there was ever a time they were good, or maybe I missed it :(
Resto was meta all of last expansion actually, but also I think all healers are playable and will get invited to groups!
Not sure, if upcoming Prot Paladin "buff" will be game changer. There is more problem then increase 10% armor. But I still playing that, going 10 M+ as prot pala but I feel like a DK when my HP jumping from up to low....but I dont have healing as DK and healer is little bit nervous. :D
Sad thing is that its not even a buff the 10% armor,its just compensation for losing seal of order and the 10% armor and 10% cd it gives.That's why the are giving 10% armor and reducing some ability cd's
sorry but you are doing demo wrong. in low keys and low raid tiers, demo is not performing well because demo need some ramp up and things are dying too fast. But in high m+ and high raid tiers, the demo starts shining in every cleave and aoe scenario. With diabolist you are doing insane numbers, when the summoning train is running. Demo is so much more versatile then affli or destro. Destro and Affli debends on their cds... big numbers are coming all 2 minutes, but with demo you gain all 10-20 sec (depends on how much you can cast) a big dmg amp. Any of the 3 demons you spawn does good cleave dmg and empowers on of your ST / Cleave spells. For sure... Pure single target, demo is behind destro (aff is already falling behind sadly) but if you add any form of cleave to a fight, demo is rising. Please consider this in your next ranking!
PS: if you understand how demo works, there is not much potential for failing! it's a very simple rotation! Also movement demo is shining! Destro and Aff can't do much while moving (for sure, destro has shadowburn and aff the instant proccs).

BM isn't shining. BM is only doing well in raid because they are the best PI target in raid. So even that placing is propped up.

I just believe the results are hollow and in the hands of mortals and teams that don't know they should use PI on them that people would be misled.
I think in all content MM and SV are just better spec and definitely more fun.
I just don't like BM so I made a very biased statement.
It's not a lack of augmentation being played, it's a lack of evokers being played overall.
Something like 3% of all level 80s are evokers and only ~4.5% of all mythic keys on raider IO have had an evoker of any spec. (2% pres, 2% Aug, .5% Dev) Undoubtedly a lot of cross over between specs and the same player.
That makes it hard to accurately gage their real potential overall, especially for the dev because they have such a low sample size. With a good Dev maybe being forced into playing preservation or Aug so groups take them.
Personally I haven't found a single Arcane mage or any shaman who can out DPS my Dev in M+5 or less. (Haven't even attempted a +6 yet, just been farming rune crests for gear)
Once an unholy DK did in grim and once a ret pally did in city of echos.
I would have placed Dev Evoker in the winners circle for sure, consider that there is a reason team liquid had 2 Dev evokers when they got world first. The same number as arcane mages, fury warriors, and Frost death knights.
As for tanks, I've yet to see any tank out damage a death bringer blood DK overall. Their blood plague on trash alone is kinda broken. With single target damaging being a Colossus prot warrior by far.

I'm a dev evoker main and what you described is pretty similar to my results, even in +7 or +8s. It's seriously an underrated spec that can be quite hard to kill with some proactive defensive uses, and dev does a lot of damage following its recent buffs.
It's a shame WoWhead still lists it as a bottom C tier spec even though my dev has been able to outdo frost, Marksman, ret, and arcane in many M+ dungeons.
@@Johas9323 Wowhead putting them in C tier is actually criminal because they pump damage this expansion. Not a single Aug was taken in world first raids and theyre actually doing GOOD in M+ as well

ain't no way you said demo is hard lmao hit tyrant with 3 seconds left on charhound. if you know a mech is coming to make you move do it sub 5 seconds. have 10 or 15 imps rdy for tyrant depending if ur running that talent. hand of guldan at 3 soul shards, if running doom switch targets each time you demonbolt, use imp tracker weak aura for good implosion use. that's the entire class lmao. use diabolist procs as they come, but don't cap on soul shards.

Don’t forget this is based off raid and mythic plus, and they are 100% not “OP” they have incredibly low defensive toolkit and struggle if they are specced to far into aoe in Single target scenarios

Hunter has some great defensive tools baseline. Turtle is essentially a worse Divine Shield and Exhilaration is a much better personal Lay on Hands. The CD of your full heal gets reduced as you spend focus too.
Unlike Ret though, Hunter’s primary defense is having the best mobility while dealing damage and ability to quickly re-position without losing damage.
What typically kept Hunter from being brought to high keys in the past was it’s like of passive mitigation (vs DK who has lots of it) and tools that help other players in your party (like Paladin)
I think what hunter and some classes struggle with is a good group buff which ppl looking for, thats why you always see shami with bl mage with buff and so on

I play MM and numbers are great.
Both Hunter specs ( MM & BM) are lacking balance of Single Target 🎯 and AOE . MM is lacking AOE and BM is lacking burst Single Target 🎯 . Fire Mage has both in which i like Fire Mages , but they do not do well in Delves , especially against the last boss that doesn't get cc.

Did T8 solo on my warlock with 533 ilvl, easy but take some time. T3 on my 592ilvl rest shaman, barely able to do it.
Sure i may not be the best geared or the best player by a long shot, but these are night/day. Healer is simply not a good or even decent choice for solo Delve or most of the solo content.
I can guarantee you that you did not complete a T8 at 533 ilvl.

Breath is the strongest way to play Frost but it’s not the only way. Rider Oblit and Shattering Frost Deathbringer are more consistent in pugs or doing smaller pulls.
yeah sure but all the timing and macros you need to play it consistent are turning me up and sometimes without good gear you getting many times no procs which is a bit frustrating when i look up guides where the rotation works

Normally I frown on these types of videos. I hardly, if ever, watch them. Not even sure why I watched this one. But now I see why I never do. The problem with catering to these types of videos. Is that they are extremely opinionated of the OP. One video will swear that the logs will say this and that, but another OP's video will post that the logs say something else. Next thing you know you have people removing said losing class from raids or not inviting them to Mythic +'s.
Then you have people trying to level the OP Class on the top list. Which can suck, cause we all know Blizz can nerf and buff a class into oblivion or into glory over night with a patch. Most of your videos you have made have been cool and ok; but this one is just opinionated and trash. But that is my opinion as well.
I have yet to see a FDK not get outDPSed and out-CCed by an UHDK. More skilled players tend to gravitate toward UH, and that makes all the difference.
