- This is the music I grew up listening to in the early 1970's, during the Bump Jive Revolution. In 2004 I bought the CD titled Bump Jive Revival at a Record Shop on Eloff Street Johannesburg .
The track Phata Eleven is the first track on this CD.
I decided to share this great track with everybody who gets moved by it.
ENJOY!!

Thanks so much for sharing, brother! I remember an uncle of mine had a badly scratched copy of this LP back in the 80s.Could you PLEASE share the whole album with us, I think it's actually just 2 songs. And the Plum & Cherry album as well, if you still HAVE the CD.
Cape town jazz at its best
MY GOD BLESS YOU AND ITS BEEN LONG TRYING TO GET THIS SONGS CAN YOU PLEASE SEND FULL ALBUM FOR JOHNNY WINDERMERE PLEASE
Hi. I'm happy to hear that you found a song that love. The album on which this song appears is titled
WHERE IT ALL STARTED by Johnny Windermere. I have this album on vinyl. The problem is, when vinyl
records went out of fashion and cassettes came in, the LP was not taken care of and its sound quality is rather poor.
I am in the process looking for affordable noise reduction equipment.
If I find it I will sure post the full album.
Me too
