DE Daylen Gill (Southern Miss) went out like a champ in this game. He had 3 sacks in one quarter (the fourth quarter), who does that? And all of those sacks were crucial because they stopped two potential scoring drives. They should have had a defensive MVP award for this game like some other bowls did (Bahamas Bowl, Fenway Bowl, among others), and Gill should have won that Defensive MVP for this game.
