Fantastic figures and what a battlefield. Well done! I've just noticed the Perry's have released their plastic Prussian box sets on their website. Suddenly wargaming this period has become more affordable. Very tempting! :)
Very nice game. Im also planing to start Franco Prussian War in "Sharp Practice", some though for army list: for Bavarians, they could get good shoot (Werndl rifle was as good as famous Chassepot ) insted of stubborn (they were good soldier but not such motivated as Prussians).
Thanks Emmett as to the figures I used lots of great war 1914 miniatures as the uniforms and weapons didn't really change from 1870 and I kitbashed the gatling gun ... there are figures now out there for the period...empire of eagles I believe or you could use "great war" miniatures 1914 range and adapt as I did...only cos I had em already...lol
Thanks, I’ll have a look at Great War, got some of their British. I’ve seen Empire of Eagles, nice but a bit pricey. Woodbine Designs would be another to try.
Hi, loving your presentation. Very impressive. I have a small channel, think I can learn from yours. I also play SP. Mostly Saga, like you, just painted republican Romans . Also listen to plastic crack podcast. Thx for sharing.
Great presentation. Loved it! I can hear my wife groan as you have inspired me to start on the Franco- Prussian war using Sharp Practice. Cheers.

Looking forward to seeing your progress Shaun. I can’t help feel the Prussians and allies are going to have a tough fight on their hands there!

Looks great, really nice layout. I’d love to know which ranges of figures you used as I’m thinking about starting FPW in 15 and 28mm.
