DELL LATITUDE E6540 Fully Disassembly

Thanks. Great reference. I just refurbed a 6540 for myself by replacing all the exterior trim pieces, replacing the WLAN card with a newer model, upgrading the RAM and replacing the hard drive and Optical drive with SSD's. It both looks and feels brand new, and your disassembly definitely helped me figure some parts out (particularly regarding removing and replacing the screen to get to the damaged top cover.
Some say why get an old laptop and go through the trouble, but IMHO these things are so much better than anything new out there.

I have a doubt, mine has a third processor look-alike chip at the right of the ram, and I know the big one is the processor and the other small that's left-down of the processor is the CPU, so, what is that third chip? I noticed yours doesn't have it

Great video!... the only thing that is missing if you want an opinion is a list of times where pieces begin. like screen disassembly starts at time 'x' etc
