Me: Ok so I finally researched the origin of the “no one” meme to confirm that it did start by making fun of people giving their completely unsolicited opinions. So using it for things AJay says about the music really doesn’t work, because we watch these videos for her opinion on the songs. Like we literally beg her for her opinion.

it's really not that good. just boring trap shit we hear everyday. save room for us, feelings, life's too short and stormy weather are iconic.
I think after she heard Hopscotch it threw her off and she lost interest in the whole album in general. But she did respect several tracks on the album. So I'm happy that she at least listened to the album and gave it a chance because I keep hearing a lot of people say they weren't even going to listen and thats why the underground artist always stay unheard because no one gives them a chance.

This album is GREAT. Tinashe is one of the best R&B artists out there and her whole discography is very underrated and overshadowed by the label drama.

It’s so satisfying to see tinashe finally getting the recognition she deserves with this album that’s so much more authentic to who she actually is as an artist... She’s so amazing and I can’t wait to see her win

This album is by far one of the best this year. Innovative, creative, suprising & most important: a reminder that she's THAT BITCH. I'm so happy for her resurgence. I've been patiently waiting to see her direction & was not disappointed. Not one bit.

Ruan Fernandes she started off with Joyride which is literally the worst starting point if you’re going to dive in her discography
K W oh its so sad aquarius is a such masterpiece. She was started in the game and she was still a big bet from RCA and of the industry. Joyride is a tiring job even having some perfect tracks, was shaped by the record label and let behind too by it

Review “Nightride” by Tinashe. This is my favourite project of hers and the entire album needs a gotdayum mark to it. You’ll enjoy this one sooooooo much. Also her Amethyst mixtape is worth you reviewing because it’s also only bangers. Tinashe has the BEST mixtapes

I feel Nighteride was her best body of work imo. So many experimental sounds and productions I've never heard before. I love it so much🥰🙆🏻♂️
Now a days most expect a high intensity banger or one with mainstream tones, like re-runs from old beats made in the 90s which give us the nostalgia of previous bangers. Yet Tinashe embodies the-90’s by not reframing old reruns. She’s a one of a kind Artist that works through experimentation, and crazy transitioning melodies. I can’t compare her to anyone else because there’s no one else like her, yet she does give me that bad ass 90s vibe but with her own originality. Ya’’ll -Songs for you- is album of the year .period. Cute reaction though. Glad you liked the major hits.

Kinda disappointed you didn't like some songs. I love this album and it's one of the best albums of 2019. I can listen to the album from beginning to end. At least you said you need more time. I hope that it grow on you.

i think to understand tinashe’s music and artistry you have to listen to her early mixtapes to see where she came from as an artist and the type of just she likes to make bc she’s very versatile and has a certain way she likes to do things.

Try albums: Nightride, Black Water, Amethyst and Aquarius they are more like this one...only Joyride doesnt feel authentic imo
I think Ajay is more of a pop person so r&b and hip hop aint really her thing which is why this album didnt hit like it did with most of us. To each their own.

I felt the same but I knew she wasnt going to really feel it..I love all her reactions but she loves her mainstream artist. Tinashe is NOT a mainstream artist so she never really gets mainstream listeners hyped. the same way she reacted to this album was the way I reacted to Taylor Swifts Lover. I was NOT impressed at all. I got bored and it sounded the same. So we are all entitled to our tastes in Genre!
Natasha Ward Ajay also fell in love with FKA Twig who is definitely not mainstream. No offense, but Tinashes album often lacked diversity in melody and chord progression, which is expected from any pop album.
The production on this was SO innovative!! Die a Little Bit is the perfect example of blending geats and genres, and adding different levels of melodies and speak talking to create a whole new sound. Ms. Tinashe did her thing. She ate. Periodt.

This is one of the freshest sounding projects I have heard in a while/ a much needed breath of fresh air. I can't wait to see what else Tinashe does as an independent artist. Definitely my favorite release this year.
