Something I see commented pretty often is, "this is the same announcer as the other wii sports games, just older!" and while there's no way to prove/disprove that because of a lack of credits, I'm 99.99% sure thats not the case. If you have actual proof as to who this announcer is, I'd love to see it. Update: I should've mentioned this earlier, but I spoke with Josh Millman, and he confirmed that this is not his voice.
I am fairly certain that the announcer for club is the same announcer in the E3 presentation for the original Wii Sports, he was just younger back then.
The VA is NOT Josh Millman. This is backed by his profile on Voice123. On his profile, he credits himself for Wii sports and wii sports resort, but NOT wii sports club, therefore it CANNOT be him.
I like to think that the Master Mii named “Yuya” is the Annoucer and I primarily think that is because he’s almost never seen throughout the game even in the crowds because he’s most likely busy Commentating the Sports
@@The_Gamer_91 there is info, but it highly contradicts these lies. And that is his Voice123 profile. He credits himself for Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, but not Wii Sports Club
@@WipeoutJack I'm being honest here, Wii Sports Fandom, and MobyGames The Fandom page also says that Millman was the announcer for the original Wii Party as well
Can't blame you for using the resources available online, but I can pretty safely say that these aren't the same announcers. For example, I've talked directly with Josh Millman in the past and he's confirmed to me that he wasn't the voice of the Wii Party announcer.
i think both of them have the same amount of energy but if i had to choose, it would be the original one. 1:07 kinda sounds depressing. compared to "AMAZING DUNK!" from the old announcer, yeah that's gonna go to the old announcer for me.

I think the announcer voice actor in this game is Dan Clements. I can't say I know for sure though.

I hate this announcer. He has less energy than the old announcer and overall just sounds worse.
it’s the same announcer he’s just older

I like how he says CHANGE!!!!
While the original Wii Sports announcer is definitely more remembered, I liked this guy's announcer voice too.
Fun fact: Josh Milman reprises his role as the announcer here but he’s older aswell.
any proof to verify that?
This is false. There's no info to prove this and it would be highly unlikely that his voice could change like that in just 3-6 years.
The people told him to make his voice a bit deeper for wii sports club so it can be different from wii sports and wii sports resort
@@julien2168 that is false. In fact, Josh doesnt even credit himself as the announcer

Damn Josh must’ve aged about 50 years 😂

Josh Milman is so much better.
Since these were ripped from the files, do you think modding in the old announcer's lines is doable?
yeah i'd say thats definitely possible
@@WipeoutJack better be.. this makes me sad
@@WipeoutJack how did u get the words
just extracting and converting the audio files
Seems very easy to just replace all the announcers audio files with the ones from the original
This Voice over Belongs to Derek Freeman
hmm never heard that, where did you get that info?
Imdb or Behind the voice actors
I like the announcer cause he sounds tough
I think the earlier one had a bit more energy, but I think this one sounds a bit less forced.
the voice announcer just sounds sarcastic. listen again and youll know what i mean
Fun fact: Club's announcer (Dan Clements) is also the announcer for Wii Party U
I've seen comments like this before, any rationale to back it up? They dont sound particularly similar to me.

Obvious
I’m getting different reports here. So far I have seen people crediting Dan Clements and Derek Freeman for the voice-over on different sources.
I prefer the announcer in Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort (Josh Millman) to the announcer in Wii Sports Club.
Sounds like PC Malcolm
Some of these are unused and do you know the name of this announcer?
Yep some of these are unused, but I don't actually know the announcer for this game!
Wipeout Jack I found who the announcer is. It’s the smash announcer Xander Mobus.
do you have a source for that?
Wipeout Jack I’m not quite positive on it but I saw someone say it was him in an Alaskaxp2 stream on twitch.
yeah no, that's completely wrong. This guy and xander mobus sound very different
Although it's most likely not him. The announcer kinda gives me Alex Trebek vibes
let's be honest the only reason people like this is because u can play online
