- Nissan Navara oil low message. This video will show you how to reset the oil low indicator on the D40 Nissan Navara, the process is quick and easy. This message will often occur after a service or oil change and includes the words "Oil Lo" as well as a "flashing Oil Pressure Light". Note that if the oil pressure light is "Solid" this indicates a low oil pressure, where as the flashing light indicates a low oil level. Make sure of coarse that the oil level is correct before resetting the light.
Man you are the man. I tried this same procedure on a Newer nissan navara NP300 cause i could not get rid of the message after the service. And it worked. Thank you

Sí es la original a menos que sea ya alguna falla en el sensor. Voy a tener que reemplazarlo.

Apparently the sensor get air pockets trapped in it after letting it sit with low/no oil in the engine for a period of time. I just ran the engine it turned itself off after a minute, other say get the oil up to temp to allow it to bleed the sensor. Considering its just a long plastic tube with a small pin hole up top, its safe to assume it takes time for gravity to take effect to push the oil up the tube to remove the warning. Another brain dead idea from Nissan and its never ending problems with the YD25. Been servicing Navara's for years, first time I have encountered that one. Awful trucks.
Hi bro, apparently my navara had more oil than required, my mechanic removed the excess, and now the problem appeared, it would be good to put more oil, or try this trick (I haven't tried it yet) thanks mate 🤙

Still working at nv350 van Nissan today. Showed Oil good. But can't add the service distance on it (🔧: 00000) But thanks👍🏻
The service resets can be a bit temperamental on those. Had a customer waiting for one that just wouldn't reset. Got him to come back another day, then it just worked.
Yeah I did my Wife's Nav Last year First try and the other day It took Half the Day, It Doesn't help I have Short term Memory Loss!@@gettingitdone1

Not sure what you mean. This is the procedure to reset the oil low message on the dash. It often comes up after servicing the vehicle.
My oil light is on my navara and i cant get it to go out
When you say oil light, do you mean the low oil message or the actual oil light? As in the little red oil can?
Try below steps.
NOTE
:
When the following conditions are satisfied, the combination meter reads the resistance value of oil level sensor.
The combination meter does not read the oil level sensor resistance value within 5 minutes after the previous reading of oil level sensor resistance value by the combination meter.
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Wait for 5 minutes or more, then open the front door.
DTC (B2321: OIL LEV SEN OPEN, B2322: OIL LEV SEN SHORT) is also detected at the timing described above.

Have you checked the oil level? Make sure that is right, then re-try the process. Make sure you are closely following each step.

Have you checked your oil level? If your oil level is correct and this reset doesn't work, you may have a faulty sensor.
